The Worship team at our Church was looking to add additional keyboards for the Organist. We ran across this KORG on AMS web-site. This was a ideal product needed to enhance our Worship experience. The musical is so excited to drop tacks and convert from on sound to another,..... Thank you AMS for offering such a superb product that is reasonably priced. This ia actual a BEST buy.

I bought the Krome EX 61 because on my old Korg TR workstation, which I love, the joystick stopped working and the change wheel and several buttons were becoming intermittent.Upon using the Krome EX for several weeks now, my opinion is that the piano sounds are great but many of the other sounds like the brass and woodwinds are kind of "cheesy" sounding and not nearly as good as those on my old Korg TR workstation.Luckily I could use a MIDI cable to link the Krome and TR workstations to still have access to all the TR sounds through the Krome keyboard. If you mainly work with piano and keyboard sounds the Krome EX would be an excellent choice. If you need a full spectrum of musical instrument sounds it may be best to look at other keyboards.

I’ve owned lots of keyboards but this Korg is awesome! Korg has updated the sounds and they rock! Very easy to use. The sequencer is easy to use and sounds great! With just a couple of knobs your making great sounding tracks! A professional work station at a great price! Lot’s of drums, guitars, brass, bass, to many to mention! I’m so happy with this workstation and thank AMS for making this world class instrument affordable!

Everyone gripes about the keybed, no audio out from USB, lack of favorites or setlist function among a few other things. However, if you do the research this will all be apparent before making your purchase decision. The Krome EX is a great secondary board for a live rig or for home even pro studio use depending on the client. If you want extreme bells and whistles grab a 3k plus flagship or 2k Nautilus that seems will never be available in the US!

Really nice synth. My first Korg. Always had Ensoniq or Roland. Lots of really useful patches and features. I especially liked all the piano sounds on it. It was easy to use and is really fun to play. The keys had good feel to them. It was a very reasonable price also considering all the features it had on it. Would feel good about recommending it to someone.

I own a number of keyboards from the inexpensive to flagship workstation. I bought the Krome to add to my live rig as a second keyboard due to it's light weight and those Korg sounds. I also own a Korg M3 which is superior to the Krome. It was a flagship in it's day and which I was aware of and the quality difference is apparent especially in the key bed.I am pairing the Krome with a Roland FA-06 and I think they compliment each other very well. The key bed of both are very different just ok at best. Not really sure which one I prefer. I also own a Yamaha Montage which has a vastly better key bed as does the Korg M3 but that is to be expected at this price point. I would have given it an extra 1/2 star if I could for a 3 1/2 star rating.

Good Sounds
5 December 2020

Overall:Korg makes some great products I really like their EP sounds on here the most. The piano sounds are pretty good with quite a few to choose from. The strings and synth sounds are okay. I feel like I've heard better on some of the other Korg products. The fact there's a sequencer on here to record tracks are dope. There is some menu diving you need to do in order to tweak some sounds. Check out the videos on YouTube for that. The leads are pretty good. Overall this is a good keyboard for gigging and it's price range. The only i thing really don't care for are the feel of the keys. I'm heavy handed They feel kind of blocky.

I was specifically looking for a keyboard that offered a lot of arpeggio options as I use them in creating my arrangements. The Krome ex definitely has what I was looking for. Not only does if offer countless arpeggio patterns but each one can be customized in a variety of ways. The Krome ex is a perfect match for my musical needs. And this keyboard is very reasonably priced. Love it. I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent keyboard, However, some of the sounds are a bit "cheesy" especially the electric guitars. However, and in all honesty I didn't buy this keyboard to get electric guitar sounds. The Grand pianos and most of the piano sounds and EP sounds are truly fantastic. My advise would be "get a sustain pedal" if you don't have one, it's a must have for this keyboard.
