Still getting to know this having had it just a few weeks. I expected great sounds and of course it delivers, but equally Impressed by how smooth it transitions from one voice/instrument to another giving very professional results. Yes the sound of that final note you played on the Sax stays as you select a piano and blends seamlessly .Also just how accessible the new OS makes everything - not having to go through menus I don’t understand in order to make common adjustments - it’s all just so accessible and “ready” . So for me it’s those simple things that bring joy ! Great service from PMT and am pleased with my new PA5X

Top of the range professional arranger, the vocal harmony processing from TCHelicon is outstanding and the sound bar is excellent. The sounds and styles themselves are pretty good, but are maybe beginning to sound a little dated, thought this remains the KORG's top of the range arranger as they haven't released a more recent model (unlike Yamaha for example).

At the moment not that impressed with the new Korg PA5X and sounds. At the outset I felt Korg let us down with completely changing their File system.Yes they have given a facility to covert files from PA4X to the PA5X but this a task yet to do. There are still issues with the PA5X to be resolved and I’m not in favour of multi facilities to find what you want.Also too many lights. Maybe as time progresses the PA5X might grow on me but they’d a lot to do. Korg in connection with Songbook+ still is up in the air?

I just spent 3 hours on a the new pa5x and korg really pulled out all the stops with this one. It was everything I hoped for and more. Piano's are in a different league compared to the 4x, clear and expressive and I think they easily compare with the markets top digital piano's and synthesizers. There are loads and loads of new synths and fx and a great interface. to be honest there was virtually nothing to criticise at all. The key bed also seems to be improved with a better coating and there are many new sounds which are incredibly expressive. The dual player which can play two styles at once will go down as a gamechanger in arrangers. Drum samples are greatly improved partly due to the new sound engine and the overall sound is rich, full and pleasing to the ear. ... The eq is much improved with each track expandable to a 4band parametric eq and limiter. and each style has 10 insert effects (for a total of 20 insert effects being handled simultaneously) making it by far the most powerful arranger ever. There are loads of new styles of each section each sounding uniquely distinct and inspirational and there has never been a korg keyboard as versatile as this one with loads of new settings and parameter control.In summary the pa5x is a quantum leap forward and will set the standard for future models.
