Installation was easy, however removing the original valve was a bit problematic. For some reason toilets seem to almost always be placed next to a wall making it very difficult to get under the tank for repairs. I had to work blind and by feel alone when trying to remove the original valve and needed a wrench to remove the original nut. I was getting an awful pipe vibration every time I flushed my toilet. After researching on the Internet on what could be causing that scary noise, I came to find out, it was either the flex pipe valve going to the toilet tank, OR it could be the toilet valve inside the toilet tank. I decided to test the latter first, and if it still did it, I would return it, and reinstall my original FluidMaster toilet valve that came with my toilet when first purchased. It turns out, it WAS the toilet valve inside the tank, and all is good now. Only issue was the very definite instruction to only hand tighten the threaded collar on the bottom of the tank seal. Had a leak onto the floor that way. Called the support, who promptly answered and advised pushing down firmly on the top of the unit to help improve the seal and allow a few more turns. That did the trick.That should be in the instructions. Working well since install.

It only lasted less than a month. There is sediment in our well water so had to clean the valve. When this valve stopped flushing, took the thing apart and cleaned the innards. Then put it back together with some difficulty. It was hard to unscrew one of the pieces. Finally got it undone but the toilet wouldn't stop filling. Even tried different pieces from a new flush valve out of the box. It still won't stop filling. Wont be buying this junk again. Ordered a different more expensive brand. Until it arrives will be turning on and off the water to flush the toilet.
Korky Toilet Valve is easy to use for replacing your old toilet valve. I have purchased 3 Korky toilet valves and they have been consistently good. For some customers it will be a definite upgrade to the older models which had more parts to deal with. Using the Korky you insert to the water level you want which is about 1/2 inch below the fill tube hand tighten the nut and you are good to go.

This one takes over aa minute and 45 seconds when set on the fastest fill setting (which puts less water in the bowl). On the slower setting (puts more water in the bowl but slower into the tank) it takes just under 3 minutes. I checked the Korky website for a troubleshooting suggestion and it had a video on what to do about those issues (take it apart, clean the filter, and reassemble). I followed the procedure, but the results were the same. It said in the video and on the website to contact their customer service if you still have problems. I bought it to replace a valve with a broken float arm because I could not find the appropriate float. I’m glad I did. Easy to install and even easier to adjust for perfect flush volume and bypass setting. The floatl-less cutoff system also looks like it will be more durable.I’m tempted to replace every toilet valve in our house with this product. I never give 5 stars but I simply cannot find fault with this one yet.
Purchased one of these a year ago. About a month ago it started not filling correctly like it was blocked up or had air in the line. Also, for some reason, there was less pressure when flushing.Quiet? Don't make me laugh. It is very noisy.A Flowmaster may cost more -- but they are more dependable, maintain a constant pressure, and are quieter, making them well worth the extra cost.
Final water level adjustment can only be done if you disassemble and change the height of the tube. You can get it right the first time by following the instructions on the tube itself. Connection old plumbing to the new part can be tricky. Make sure to clean the old part free of built up debris. Do not over tighten. Hand tighten is all you should need. Check for leaks, no matter what.
