Terrible. The julienned slices were thin and mushy. I had to buy another one straight away and it is superb.
Terrible to use.
I was looking for a tool to make larger julienne than this, but since buying it I've found it a fantastic size. The julienne are small enough not to break a rice-paper roll and large enough to withstand quick cooking without falling apart.
I like this slicer...I have used it for potatoes, apples, carrots, veggies of all sorts, raw, and it makes salads fun, colorful and interesting. Great for innovative dishes you can create yourself. Very glad I bought it even though it seemed a little pricey. It will be interesting to see how the blade holds up over time!
