Went to the Santa Cruz Rivermouth this morning.Lineup was killer because of the sand bar that's built up due to the recent flooding. The only drawback was the three battery changes. Man, those things don't hold enough of a charge.Sent in question about the maximum size for a LiPo (lithium) battery replacement.Need measurements for the space inside the board allotted for the battery.A recommendation for a LiPo battery that will fit would be much appreciated.Shred on!

+++++++ Pros ++++++++ + turns on a dime + Has great speed even with the basic battery it comes with + the figure on the board has rubber O-rings that flex so the human figure has realistic movement when ripping and turning + it rights itself if you wipeout + It came with some xtra repair parts (rudder, screws, etc.) --------- Cons ---------- - It only comes with the option of a male surfer and there should be a female surfer option - the life of the battery is not very long but does hold out to the advertised 7-minute run time so far (I've had it a week) - cannot run it near weeds as the propeller can get tangled so beware underwater plant life

Its great. Remember laying on the beach and the waves were only 1 and perfect. Wishing you were a foot tall. Now you are. Soooo fun. Cowabunga dude
Super fun. Only downside is the battery life is fairly short. I have other RC cars so will probably try and modify the battery
I haven’t used it yet. It would be great if I could get a second battery for it.

RC surfer was fun for about 10 mins came back full of water and never worked right again . Reached out to Catch surf where it was purchased and they told me to get in contact with the manufacturer who didn’t help or care either. Save your money this product is a piece of junk was so stoked when it came and was extremely bummed when it didn’t work right now just upset that catch surf and kyosho dropped the ball on me please someone help!
work's great for 5 minutes.... the loses power..... battery very small and need to up grade, which cost more money !!!! kyosho is very helpful as all return but go through manufacturer
