This fragrance has been a hit with my husband. I think he ordinarily could take or leave most fragrances & his choices are usually based on what I or family members have chosen for him. As a result he has a selection to choose from at any given time, this one however has become the go to!It's an earthy woody smell, but is in no way overpowering. It's entirely appropriate for work and/or an evening out. The packaging is solid but minamilist and looks attractive in its own right. He sprays it on his clothing as opposed to skin and I find I can still smell it in the evening.Although I'm sure for sentimentality he would describe another scent as his favourite, I can honestly say this one is getting far more use lately.. and will need to be replenished in due course!

This is a really lovely scent-both my husband and I agree. He is delighted with it and I am so pleased to have found an alternative to his old favourite.The bottle is really nicely designed & we think this would be a very safe yet special present purchase. Actually, this was originally trialled as part of my role as a reviewer but I am going to buy another as a Christmas present for my brother in law. I wouldn't wear it myself and it is marketed 'pour home' but I think it would suit a range of male tastes. It has deeper notes than the other Issey Miyake classics but still some lovely crisp top notes... I'm not an expert in perfume critique so best to read the product information but I'm just going to say that it smells wonderful.

My husband already owns the regular L'Eau D'Issey and was very interested to try this new Wood&Wood fragrance. On initial application this has a lovely clean and fresh smell, but with distinct warm woody sandalwood tones. It feels more of an autumn or winter scent than a summer one. We both like it a lot and my husband is wearing it daily. Interestingly this is an eau de parfum, rather than an eau de toilette so in theory this should make it stronger, more intense and longer lasting. However, we both felt the intensity of the fragrance didn't actually last much longer than 3 hours - so we have removed one star for that.

I really liked Intuition by Estee Lauder but they stopped making it. So I have been looking for an alternatives and with this Wood &Wood parfum I believe I have found it. I really like the smell of it. Yes it's that simple.
I got this for my husband as a Diwali present as he had his eye it for quite some time and I have to say that it does not disappoint.My husband has really sensitive skin and can only use certain perfumes/aftershaves, so I was a bit sceptical of getting it but I am glad I did as there was no stinging and felt really nice on the skin.I would say this is more of a Autumn/Winter spray due to the deep woody smell.The smell is so fresh and woody which makes you feel as one with nature!The price is not too steep, packaging is in point and the sheer easiness of using the aftershave is great. You guys at Issey Miyake have done it again!I would definitely recommend this as a Christmas gift for this year
This is a slightly unusual scent, it is fresh, spicy and full-bodied all at the same time, reminiscent of a fruit tree in its maturity. The scent is quite intense at first but has good staying power, changing to more woody notes as the day wears on. I wouldn't necessarily think this a day scent for meetings and work etc, but definitely one for the special occasion and special someone, perhaps a weekend somewhere in Italy. The value for money aspect is slightly difficult on this as I would definitely pay the price for my husband to wear this scent and it seems great quality due to its sophisticatedness and staying power. Saying that, my husband wouldn't wear it every day to work so I'd be concerned whether he'd use up the bottle in time.

I am a huge fan of the original L'Eau D'Issey fragrance, but this this Issey Miyake is tinted with a warm shade of oak and has just the right amount of a woody cap to make it the go to Autumnal fragrance.When you lift the cap and spray this Eau de Parfum, you instantly get hit by sharpness of grapefruit; which reminds me of the signature freshness that I love. No axe to grind as I love the Issey Miyake fragrances I already own but the longevity of this juice is SHOCKING within minutes its a skin scent (quite a long lasting one but only you or someone really close to you would smell it). Even with heavy overspraying its still weak cologne strength lasts better on clothes. I sprayed 6/7 spritzes every couple of hours (including on my chest) to get it to last from morning to night. It smelled wonderful on my shirt when I took it off at night so maybe good for a smooch? Not really a woody fragrance more spicy (like a VERY mild fruity Spicebomb or a less fruity Joop! Homme Wild). Bottle is lovely with its wooden cap. That this is sold as a EAU DE PARFUM INTENSE is a bit of a joke. Lovely fragrance but unless you want to use it ... The woodiness is quite pleasant, masculine and refreshing - the sandalwood fragrance is sophisticated rather than smelling like incense (which is what I would usually associate it with). A good fragrance, same DNA as the classic Issey Miyake Pour Homme but more woody and with an prominent note of apricot. High longevity on clothes and i find it very versatile. Very pleasant bottle.
