I bought this set for the 2 OMG big sister dolls inside. The whole experience was a trainwreck. I had to buy and return the set 4 times to get a decent pair of dolls inside. Bad root jobs, messed up painted makeup, rats nest hair and glue globs on the face were encountered on almost all of the dolls I opened. These sealed sets are frequently concealing shoddy workmanship. When the dolls are done right, they are phenomenal and really one of the most exciting toys to hit the market in years. Their design concepts are on point and the packaging is creative and just beautiful. Most kids probably won’t care that their dolls don’t look great but for us adult collectors (we are legion), quality control is a huge issue.

We bought this for my daughter's birthday and although the dolls seem to be good quality, this set is definitely not worth the hefty price of $199! The 'studio' is cardboard and quite tricky to keep upright and play with on a long term basis (my kids abandoned it after 2 days). You really have to wonder how on earth these LOL sets can cost so much - it's a total rort! Not to mention the amount of paper and bits of plastic etc that needs to be discarded after unwrapping everything. Having said that, I do like the dolls!

Says 12 dolls. Actually missing 2! The one with pink hair and the blonde LOL's are not in the box. Instead got 2 duplicates of the one with purple hair and headband. Even missing the little sticker pictures for the 2 missing dolls for the award envelope. Guess it doesn't pay to shop early seeing as how I bought this in May when it was $40 and my kids just opened it.

Kids seem to like them but as a parent it seems like a bunch of junk. Some pieces are so small. When it’s time to cleanup where do you put everything? We put the small pieces in ziplock bags to try and keep everything together and not get lost but inevitably it ends up happening. I’ve vacuumed and thrown away so many of these small pieces. It’s literal garbage. And so much unnecessary packaging. Don’t buy these if your concerned about waste. Waste of money, time, and packaging. This was the first and last time I will buy LOL Dolls . . . And they’re so expensive!!!
Over priced, overrated, totally over LOL Dolls. Got this for my 10 year old and these dolls are too sexy , showing too much skin and very little to the eye. My daughter had a very hard time putting on the jeans on a voluptuous doll. Why is she build like that mom? Yes there’s curvy women and yes it should be advertised in dolls to show little girls that, we as women come in different shapes and sizes! But at least make the clothes go through. Definitely not a brand I would want my daughter to look up to , two big dolls and a bunch of smaller dolls for $80 not worth it with a card board box to hold them? Why not plastic ? It’s already $80 make it worth every dime .

The red and blue glasses made it extra fun to try and figure out which character won which award. The playset is made of thin cardboard to accommodate opening all the boxes so it did not last long with a lot of play, but they enjoyed it while they opened and while it lasted.Over all they really enjoyed the set, the largest dolls and the very smallest baby ones have been their favorite.
All the dolls are great but I just don’t care for the packaging. The directions are just so much we didn’t even follow them and I just felt around to open to try to find everything. So we didn’t even get the excitement of following the directions and trying to figure it out. Than this is suppose to be something they can use as a stage or backdrop but after opening everything it’s not in perfect shape anymore and a complete waste in my opinion. Well probably throw it away. I got it for 81. Even though in person they were trying to lie and charge more than they say online, but I just feel like I’ve paid less money for a real airplane looking or camper LOL set included. This was a waste of money! You’re basically paying for the dolls. Which are overpriced as it is.
I Bought This As A Christmas Gift And I Am Absolutely Disappointed. The Price point Is Way Beyond It's Actual Worth. The House Is Made Of Flimsy Cardboard. My Child Ripped The Cardboard In Various Places In An Attempt To Open The Panels And Get The Surprises. Not Easy To Do Without Damaging The Cardboard. This Item Is Worth No More Than $25 In My Opinion. I Am Tossing It In The Trash Just Like I tossed My Money Away Upon Purchasing This. Would Probably Have Been Worth The Money If It Were Made Of Durable Plastic At Least. Save Yourself The Disappointment And Leave This On The Shelf.

I’ve seen the regular price of this set at $130 and I would have been very upset if I paid that much for it. $80-$90 seems like a more reasonable regular price for this item. My girls are 4 and 6, so guess who got to open allllllllllllll the tiny packages and put on all the clothes?? I don’t know the exact number of all the things you have to rip open in this set but it’s a lot and it’s ridiculous. I did try to preserve the play set aspect of it but it was just taking too much time to open everything and find everything. This product is extremely disappointing. I have purchased numerous big box LOL items and this by far is the worst . The set is made of cardboard that taped tightly together. To get to the dolls you have to pull this tape apart. No matter how careful you are, you will rip the cardboard in some form or fashion. On top of that, the cardboard is beyond flimsy and does not hold its shape after extracting all the surprises. Poorly constructed and put together. ,this should have been made of plastic for the price point. The unboxings online do not reflect the product that you purchase
