The shea butter cream is worth every penny if you have dry, scaly hands. I only apply a small amount, and it works quickly and absorbs in. Considering how little you need to apply, I consider it to be a better value than the drugstore eczema creams, which aren’t cheap and have a horrible greasy texture. The other scents aren’t worth buying except for amande; they’re less rich than the shea butter version, and have offputtingly strong fragrances. Amande worked fine for my hands but I had to apply more than the shea version.I like that the creams come in an aluminum tube. The downsides are the lid is finnicky, and as you roll the tube, pinholes can develop and the cream will come out them.

I’ve received 3 deluxe samples of this product in GWPs over the last few months. I wanted to love this hand crème because of other products I’ve used from this brand. It does nice on my hands and does create a protective barrier, but I’m constantly having to reapply it to maintain moisture. It has 20% shea butter, so I figured it would last more than 30 minutes (or one hand-washing session)—it does neither for me. You can see in the photo that my hand is still particularly dry and that was after using this for several days. I went through all 3 deluxe samples. It retails for $29USD for a 5.2oz tube, which *is* a fairly large tube.. but I’d much rather pay $10 for a 3.3oz tube for a different brand that creates a moisturizing, protectant barrier that lasts longer, ... MoreI’ve received 3 deluxe samples of this product in GWPs over the last few months. I’d recommend this brand to those who aren’t constantly using their hands.. but if your lifestyle causes you to use your hands all the time, I’d suggest giving other brands a try as well.

I tried to find my tube to take a picture of, but I think I eventually threw it away (this is a daily task review). I hoard hand creams, so of course L’Occtaine was in my collection. This is not a popular opinion, but I don’t like their products. I didn’t care for this hand cream and I did not like the almond shower oil. The hand cream has an musty “old lady†smell to me that I absolutely did not care for. And, it was strong and lingered for a long time. I also didn’t find it hydrating enough and it left a weird film on my hands. I don’t get the hype over this, but everyone has different tastes! I gifted this to my girlfriend for her birthday, and she went out and bought the shimmering lotion of this scent the next. It smells so incredibly beautiful and fresh, like a spring stroll through falling cherry blossoms. The hand cream is buttery, hydrating yet not gross and oily. After looking for a gift all day unsuccessfully, the minute I picked this up and smelled it I knew she’d love it. And I can’t even add a picture because it’s hidden deep in the abyss of her purse 😅. Honestly, hats off to L’occtaine. They didn’t come to play.

Here is my favorite hand cream, I use daily… or I should say nightly. This rich hand cream is truely one of @loccitane iconic products. I find it very good both for skin and nails. Its rich texture has a balm like consistency but doesn’t leave your hands greasy. It absorbs quickly, penetrates into the skin and creates a protective, nourishing layer that lasts a while. It is very effective for very dry, cracked skin. The key ingredients are Organic Shea Butter, Honey, Coconut Oil and Almond Oil (it is NOT a nut-free product). It has a light floral scent that I like, but if you are sensitive make sure to test it first.

The L’Occitane hand creams are popular for good reasons. A small amount of product is enough to coat the hands without a greasy feeling, and protects against winter dryness. I love the original, but the sweet smell of the cherry blossom makes it a favourite. The smaller sizes fit easily into a purse or backpack. I’ve given these as gifts multiple times, and they’ve been received with pleasure. While these do tend to be a little pricier than many hand creams, they are well-worth the price.

Effective hand cream!

This is quite a heavy duty hand moisturizer so I don't use it regularly, only during winter or if travelling somewhere colder where my skin requires the extra moisture. It's in one of those dreaded metal tubes, the ones that you try and squeeze the last bits out of but can't, and that starts leaking through holes when you're barely half way through. The good part is that it is definitely not greasy or leaves a film of any kind on your hands. I find it absorbs quickly and my hands feel much more supple for hours afterwards. Often I find I only need to use once per day, not twice. The only downside is the fragrance which has more than a passing resemblance to baby powder, which you either like or you don't. I fall into the latter category unfortunately. Give yourself a treat.

My hands are one of my best assets but they work incredibly hard and are in and out if water constantly. I look after my Grand daughter frequently and love gardening. They were suffering as a result so I splashed out on this product. It seemed very expensive - let’s face it we would think twice before purchasing a hand-creme at £17; well I did. The lure of a beautiful lavender perfume made me click that buy button and to be honest I’m delighted with it. A small amount does the business. It’s kind of old fashioned with the screw on cap and that can be a footer last thing at night when you just want to keep up the good resolution to look after your hands well; but I’m hoping it will soon make a difference to my overworked hands.

Product is good, Sephora version of it isn’t

When I first got this I was really put off by the texture. It was too thick, hard to apply and it’d take a while to be absorbed by the skin. It then occurred me to stop by a L‘Occitane store and ask for a sample of it.Indeed, what I got from Sephora is far from the real deal. Either Sephora got a bad batch of this or it wasn’t stored adequately or something, but what I received is definitely not right. If your only option is to buy this online, probably best to skip it, and if you’re buying at a Sephora store be sure to check the texture before purchasing. The sample I got from L‘Occitane is actually quite good and I’d recommend the product if you can it properly.

We’ve had these little aluminum tubes of l’Occitane hand cream around the house and cars for years now. My husband loves the lavender fragrance, and I prefer the Shea Butter and Almond fragrances. These hand creams are very special; the formula absorbs well into the skin and doesn’t leave hands greasy. They make all the little lines disappear as the skin is nourished.Just a warning about the Cherry Blossom fragrance. It is VERY strong and not to my liking; I had a tube come in a set and was trying to use it up, so I put it in my car. Then this happened: I was headed to my Drs office for an appointment; the clinic is a ‘fragrance free’ environment and they’re pretty strict about it, when I go there I don’t put on any perfume just an unscented deodorant. So I went in for the appointment my Dr started getting upset with me because she was certain I was wearing perfume. I wasn’t, so I was very puzzled, turns out it was the freaking Cherry Blossom hand cream I had put on an hour earlier when I climbed into my car for the drive. That’s how strong and offensive it is to people around; she could smell it across the room, I was so embarrassed. I threw the tube in the trash after that. The 3 scents I mentioned (Lavender, Shea butter and Almond) are very mellow and not offensive at all. If you’re sensitive to scents don’t get the Cherry Blossom or the Rose hand creams; they’re very pungent.
