L'Occitane Lavender Hand Cream 75ml
Enriched with shea butter and lavender essential oil from Haute-Provence, the L’Occitane Lavender Hand Cream gently helps nourish the hands leaving them softly perfumed. Lavender was one of the first flowers distilled by Olivier Baussan, the founder of L’Occitane. Known in Provence as “blue gold,” this plant is an aromatic tribute to the south of France. It is the fragrant soul of the region, the fruit of respectful labor. L’Occitane uses lavender that is sourced from farmers’ cooperatives in Haute-Provence. How To Use – Apply on the hands with soft massage to make it penetrate. While exploring his native Provence nearly 25 years ago, Olivier Baussan created L’Occitane by capturing the region’s most subtle fragrances and blending them with natural ingredients. Using the traditional method of extraction, he developed L’Occitane’s very first products based on essential oils extracted from local plants. From his rustic roots in Provence, Olivier dreamed of discovering new horizons, to travel beyond his native land and experience other cultures. In keeping with this spirit, L’Occitane developed a humanitarian-partnership with African women. In the Burkina Faso village in Africa, the native women harvest Shea nuts and are the co-producers of L’Occitane’s complete Shea Butter Collection. Thus, it is a tale of Provence meets Africa on ethical grounds. Today, L’Occitane focuses on protecting the fading traditions and vanishing techniques that everyone should be enjoying. L’Occitane breathes new life into these authentic customs by recreating the genuine articles such as its famous “Marseilles Soaps” as well as the revival of its Verbena and Lavender Harvests each year.

Love this hand cream at bedtime. Genuinely smells like a border of lavender growing in late summer with none of the additional fragrances that often can spoil a scent. Relaxing beautifully moisturising and not too thick so well-absorbed. My favourite.

I was first given this as a gift and love it so much. It is more than I would normally pay for a hand cream but the cream is so cooling smooth and non sticky. I massage it into my hands just before I go to sleep and love the long lasting fragrance. It's very relaxing. It has kept my skin soft even after all the latest constant hand washing! I now buy it for myself as a luxury and feel it is absolutely worth it.

I have never found another hand cream that works as effectively as this. The smell is divine and there is no sticky residue. The lavande is my preference but the other fragrances work as well.

This is my favourite cream as it works wonderfully on my cleaner/gardener's hands. It also helps with the side effects of treatments from two bouts of breast cancer! It smells of beautiful fields of lavender and combined with a good book is my nightly routine for a happy sleep a proper treat.
The cream isn't greasy at all and the lavender scent immediately relaxes me and lasts for hours. I always have a travel-sized tube in my bag when I need a pick-me-up.
The most exquisite hand cream on the market. The lavender fragrance is delightful & the cream absorbs into the hands without leaving a greasy feeling.
This has probably got to be the best hand cream I have ever used. Over the years I have tried and tested so many products from high street brands like Dove and Nivea to more expensive luxurious brands. I wanted to find something that encompassed my favourite smells and that was light and not too greasy / left a sticky or oily residue after using. Lavender is my all time favourite scent and is an old time classic. It's fresh and the scent lasts ages. A little goes a long way so don't feel inclined to use loads. A tube normally lasts me 7/8 months. Obviously it all depends on how often you use it. I will continue to use this product for the rest of my life the moment I experienced L'Occitane products I was completely hooked on them. Fabulous!
I love your lavender products but I havent quite made up my mind about this. I have the lavender shower gel which is fabulous and the experience is just like burying your head in a lavender bush in full flower. This is not as intense and the consistency is not as thick as it is in your free samples of peach hand cream. Perhaps I am being hypercritical because it is still the best on the market. Sometimes the true lavender smell is better after five minutes.
I have had Psoriasis for nearly a year and have not found Steroid Cream any help. Recently I put just a little of the Lavender hand cream on the affected areas and was totally amazed at the result. My skin has hugely improved in texture and is no longer itchy.. I hope this will be of interest to L'Occitane and to those with a similar skin condition. In any event it is a lovely cream for the hands!
This hand cream is fantastic it absorbs quickly not thick or heavy moisturise the skin for a long time unlike some hand creams which seem to dry the skin out over time. The fragrance is lovely the natural lavender content is very soothing I have actually put this cream on some small burns I had on my hands and it really helped to heal the skin over a couple of days. I also rub this on any insect bites it seems to help.
