Of the box I had, I was able to drink two cups before my wife and kids took care of the rest. I looked forward to drinking it once I responded to the promotion. The marketing is slick, and made me think the brand of coffee would be different somehow. However, it is very similar to other 8 intensity roasts from other brands. I'm a long-time coffee drinker and appreciate variances in roasts and origins, but I'm not sure I could differentiate this 8 from other brands. Therefore, it comes down to price, and if this brand is price-competitive in the market, I'll consider buying again.

These L’OR espresso pods are absolutely fantastic! I’ve tried several other brands that work in my Nespresso machine and these are by far my favorite. I like a lot of variety in my coffee and my husband often comments on how many of these pods I’ve bought in the past. Granted, these can be expensive but my argument is that I don’t drink or smoke so I get a vice of my choosing and I choose coffee. For the L’OR brand, I’ve tried the Columbia #7, Papua New Guinea #8 & Profondo #8 flavors and each ranks high in their own flavorful way. These aluminum pods worked perfectly in my machine. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I was given the opportunity to try this new coffee and being a devout Nespresso junkie I felt like it was going to be a tough sell. Surprisingly, I was shocked at how much I liked L’Or Nespresso pods. The packaging was perfect which didn’t damage any of them. They fit perfectly in my Nespresso machine. I expected them to taste watered down but that wasn’t the case. I love strong espresso and this hit the spot. It wasn’t bitter at all. Had the perfect amount of everything you’d want in a great cup of espresso. I was thoroughly impressed and can’t wait to try the other espresso capsules.
I love a good espresso drink with some foamed milk and a little squeeze of chocolate syrup. These L'or espresso pods paired with the L'or Barista system makes great espresso drinks and impresses my guests too! This particular blend is quite strong, which I like. You certainly know you're drinking espresso when you make this. It's not bitter, though. It's smooth, full of flavor, and so tasty. Excellent tasting espresso. This particular flavor is rather intense. Not super strong, but definitely not weak by any means either. It starts off with a moderately strong coffee kick, with a tantalizing spicy kick, and bitter undertones. The packaging is colorful but does that translate to the flavor of this coffee? The capsule inside didn't look different or imply anything special. Popped this into my machine and once I heard the "pop" of the seal of the capsule being opened it was like heaven. The lovely fragrance filled the air and a cup filled with a hot shot of espresso with the perfect amount of crema on top made my mouth drool. I have tried this as an espresso shot and also with some frothed milk to taste the nuances of the coffee. This has a very good flavor with no aftertaste. This is my favorite espresso! I love the flavor of it and the small shot of energy it gives. I paired this espresso with Milano cookies and a sweet scone and it was delicious.
