L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oils Conditioner 300ml

I don’t often leave negative reviews, however, I have used this along with the shampoo in the tang for the passed month. The application is very messy, it doesn’t roll in your hands into a smooth lather, instead gets everywhere, it leaves a coating on the hair which makes my hair super fluffy with fly aways being too hard to control and my hair no longer holds being curled. Whatever the coating is that is left on the hair it makes it extremely difficult to style, I would not recommend in the slightest, I have not seen an improvement in my hair quality, only a decline.

Amazing conditioner. It’s so different to other conditioners. It has a vvvvvvv thick consistency not like other conditioners! I love the colour it’s like an amber colour with sandalwood smell- a musky smell! It’s amazing!!! Especially for those who have dry ends. Oh and I must mention there is golden glitter particles as well which makes your hair appear shiny!

Great First Time, Then Very Drying

The very first time I used this, I was like, "WOW", then I noticed my hair (long, straight ends dry) was looking and feeling more dry with each use. I could not see the tiny ingredients list when I bought it, but I just looked it up and so many alcohols- SHEESH! Why did they do that? Seems so counterintuitive. But maybe they are banking on fact people without super power vision or reading glasses while shopping will not notice.

Loyal customer lost

I have been using this condition for YEARS and have absolutely loved it. I have lots of curly hair and I must own shares in the company with the amount of bottles I’ve bought! But sadly the new formula is awful and I can no longer get hold of the old bottles (with the white teardrop on the front) the new formula has a horrible smell and gives my hair a greasy feel. I’m absolutely gutted as I now have to find a new product for my hair. If it’s possible to buy any of the old bottles I’d love to know. WHY has the formula been changed?

New Formula Is Terrible - Please Change It Back

This conditioner served me well for years. It did the job of a much more expensive conditioner. The new formula, unfortunately, is much more consistent with the low price. Doesn't condition as well, is greasier, and the smell lingers unpleasantly in the hair for days. I would strongly recommend that L'Oreal return to the old formula. I'll happily buy it again if that happens. For now, I have to go through the tedious process of finding a new conditioner.

New formula is awful

I have used this shampoo and conditioner for years and loved it. Just used the new formula conditioner for the first time and it is horrible. Smells weird and left a greasy coating on my hair even though I rinsed as much as I normally would. Will have to find a new shampoo and conditioner, and will be taking 2 unopened bottles back for a refund. Very disappointed

New formula ruined it

I’ve been a loyal customer of the extraordinary oil shampoo and conditioner for years. It’s been my go to. So I was horrified when the latest bottle of conditioner felt horrible putting it on and left my hair greasy and sticky at the roots. I tried two different bottles several times. But I’ve had to give up. Its labelled new formula - what have you done to it?! Please go back to the old one! It’s such a pain - it was my go to and now I have to find another regular one

Old formula please

I have used this product for years really happily. My hairdresser always commented on how beautifully my hair shone. The new formula is awful. Please change back to the original. I won’t be buying this again. Hair feels awful, sticky and dull.

What have you done ???

I have been buying this conditioner for around a year now, but the last bottle I bought, with the new formula, is different... It leaves the hair stiff and greasy. I have bought from different shops, but they are all the same. I even tried the other conditioners, hoping they might resemble the conditioner which I was use to, but they all have the same problem. I was so happy with this product. Now it is ruined.

What have you done to this!! Leaves hair greasy!!

The new formula is awful!! It doesn’t wash out properly and leaves your hair totally greasy and sticky, like it hasn’t been washed for a week. It’s so so bad!! I’ve tried buying it from different places in case it was a bad batch, but all do the same. I have been using this conditioner since it came out and loved it, please revert back to the old formula, it must be having this effect on everyone’s hair.
