Love it, love it, love it! Having a dry and sensitive skin type I am very hesitant when it comes to powder products on my face. In the past I had tried powders and my face had dried out like the sahara desert! I saw the reviews on this powder and how flawless it left everyone's skin and I just had to give it a try! The packaging is very simple and typical drugstore powder Packaging. It is a plastic case. I put this on around 6:30 a.m. and by 9 a.m. I noticed that you can see every single fine line on my face to the 10th power LOL my face feel extremely thick and Cakey. I already have oily skin and my face so extra extra extra oily only a few hours into having this on bye around 2 p.m. it had worn out in certain areas and it looked very patchy. I do sweat very excessively so I have to use waterproof everything and this definitely is not waterproof or water-resistant at all. By the end of the day most of it had worn off and what was left was horrible it was very patchy it also kind of seemed like the color got darker the longer I had it on it definitely did not look like the same color as when I first put it on. I know that might sound strange but that is the experience that I had with this. I did give this a try another day on the weekend and I pretty much had the exact same experience with it. This product might work for someone that doesn't sweat the way that I do. It might work for someone that doesn't have already oily skin. I think there's a lot of different factors that play into making this work but I do not believe that this is a foundation in a powder whatsoever this is straight-up just a powder there is absolutely nothing whatsoever special about this powder. It is very rare that I say I wouldn't recommend a product but for me and in my personal opinion I would not recommend this product. I feel like there are plenty of other powders in the same price range that you could get that would work 10 times better than this. I do not think that this is a good product at all. In my personal opinion I would not recommend this product and I absolutely will never buy this again.

Great foundation but poor packaging

I do love this product! The coverage is amazing and it really helps with my oily skin throughout the day. It’s lightweight but has great coverage. Although it is a great product, the packaging is really poor. I have purchased 3 different ones now, with the hope that the first ones were a one off. Once the powder breaks into smaller pieces, it falls out the side of the container and then all over my other products in my makeup bag. It is very messy and quite frustrating as I have lost so much product because it falls out everywhere. It sucks because I do love the coverage of this powder, but I won’t buy again because of how it ends up once the powder breaks apart.

I've always used bareminerals liquid foundation and powder which held up amazing every time I wore it. I would go through it within a few months though and spending about $70 is a lot for me being a college student. I heard a lot of great things about the loreal powder and it's not expensive at all so I gave it a shot. At first I used a powder brush and hated it, but I read reviews to use the sponge that comes with it. It literally came out AMAZING. It looks so natural and it is very lightweight which I absolutely love! And it lasts a good while too! I use it with the loreal concealer as well and I just love it. It looks the exact same as the bareminerals on my skin, but with the loreal it doesn't cover my freckles- which I like! Not sold on this foundation powder.

So, at first I was excited about this powder because it gave great coverage, until I walked into my daughters room and she asked WHAT, I put on my face!?! I excitedly told her about my new inexpensive find and how the coverage compared to department store powders. She told me it was way too light and suggested I change it for a different color. I originally purchased Linen., The second time True Beige. Weirdly, it looked the same! I believe it’s just the powder because they both looked heavy and chalky and masky. My adult daughter who knows a lot about makeup, told me it looked like I was wearing Halloween makeup. Lol definitely NOT the look I was going for. So, now I am stuck with two L’Oréal powders. Shockingly good!

I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this! I typically use Chanel's powder foundation and it's really good. This one is also amazing and the fact that it's waterproof is interesting. It can go where my Chanel powder foundation can't. I've worn this twice since I purchased and I'm impressed. This stays on my face much longer than the Chanel foundation, although the Chanel foundation shades seem to look brighter on my skin. I find with powder foundations it's best to choose a shade slightly lighter than your normal shade if the shade range isn't perfect for you. I chose Ivory Buff. In Chanel's powder foundation I wear BR22 or BR32 depending on the season. Then, I got the idea to apply this powder and it totally filled in whatever foundation had been disrupted under my eyes with just a couple of swipes. The blue glitter was covered! What really blew my mind was how it stayed in place all evening and the blue glitter hiding underneath wasn't showing until the very end of the night. This powder saved my 4th of July look!

Skin color options are awful

I want to start by saying I love the aspects and quality of this product, it's an incredible formula. It's insane how great it locks your make up on. I have ridiculous oily skin and this product does not wear off or separate. It stays on even after hours of wear and is still thickly on my face the next day if I accidently sleep in it (let's be honest it happens to the best of us after a few drinks). I can literally use it by itself for a light make up coverage if I'm in a hurry and it's a casual setting. I also use it as a finishing powder over my foundation and it locks everything in better than a setting spray. It's a struggle with a lot of make up brands, Kate Von D was a life saver with her stuff for awhile despite her crazy views.So I'll end this by saying please consider making more color options for this product. Not just for the vampire look a likes such as myself, but for all different shades out there. Works nicely!

I already like the L'Oreal pressed powder for low-makeup days, but I saw this and thought I'd give it a try and see how it competed with some Sephora foundation products I'm trying out. The lightest shade, "Pearl," worked really well for my very fair (with neutral undertones) skin-tone.Applied with a thick powder brush and kept layering it on until amount of coverage desired (we'll see how it fares over my repeatedly red t-zone), and the finish is really nice. Didn't sink into lines and pores and covered unevenness. It helps to have freshly micro-exfoliated skin to get rid of "sebaceous filaments" that look like oil plugs on the nose and chin, too. Holds up nicely in comparison to Sephora brands; it feels more natural than Dr. Jart+ CC cream with SPF but not as light and flawless as Givenchy Prisme Libre foundation.

You need this compact, you just don't know it yet

I’m a big fan of this compact. Silky smooth, very quick to apply, and provides medium-level coverage in a single product workout getting your hands gross from liquid foundation, and does great touch ups. I retired my high-end foundation in favor of this compact, though I usually brush some translucent powder over top. I keep one on my desk at all times. I work from home and don’t bother putting on makeup most days, but I have terrible acne and rosacea and get called into Zoom calls last minute very often. I keep this compact on hand so I can quick-apply something to cover the acne. 15 seconds and you’re presentable enough for a Zoom call. It’s magic. It comes with a seal, but I appreciate that Target double-protected the compact with a rubber band.
