L'Oreal Paris Colorista Hair Makeup - Grey (Temporary 1-Day Colour Highlights)

Finally, something that shows up on dark hair! I've wanted something like this for ages and was really excited to try it.It does indeed show up on my dark hair and applying it is easy. Once on it didn't transfer on to my skin or clothes. The next morning though there was quite a lot of purple on my neck and pillow so maybe wash it off before bed!On the subject of washing it out, it really does disappear in one shampoo.The only downside for me is that it's a bit of a fuss to go through if you have curly hair. I have wanted to experiment with different coloured additions to my hair as I think they can add definition and character to blonde hair, although I have always been reluctant to as I do not want to apply a coloured hair dye that I would be stuck with wearing for a few weeks. I like to change my makeup colour shades and accessories from day to day and with the new Colorista hair makeup I can now do so with my hair too! Working in an environment where different colour hair dye is not permitted, I needn't worry about adding a bit of fun colour to my hair on the weekend as the colour from the hair makeup faded when I washed it with shampoo. I highly rate this product. It brings some excitement to my boring everyday hair, it is of good quality and it's very reasonable price allows me to buy multiple different shades from the Colorista hair makeup collection so that I can experiment with different looks to my hearts content!

I have to start by saying that I'm not sure this grey colour is a fair representation of my view of this entire line as I liked the pink and purple shade in the same range, but the grey colour didn't show up at all in my hair. Make sure you wash your hands between each colour as the colour does stick to your fingers a bit and it could turn a bit muddy if several colours were mixed. Easy to put on and comes out easily in one wash. You have to use quite a bit of product so I guess the little tube won't last too long, and don't even think about using this for an all over colour, there's no chance that would work as it's quite hard to make the application even. It didn't transfer onto my clothes or my pillow case. You can feel the product in your hair, but it's not anywhere near as bad as those hair chalks that were popular a few years ago.

I was so excited to receive this product. I love experimenting with my hair and colour.I loved that it was a temporary product that could be washed out so you could have the benefit of the vibrant exciting colour in highlights but wouldn't be stuck with it and could easily change to another equally exciting colour.The smell was pleasant and the vibrancy of violet purple colour in the tube was good, with an almost a pearlescent tinge and it was a nice consistency.My hair is a medium to dark brown so I was interested to see the result. I was however a little disappointed.The instruction was to us a small amount on small strand sections and massage in from the tip comb through then dry using a hairdryer which is exactly what I did however the colour didn't seem ... MoreI was so excited to receive this product. I really liked this. It's easy to use and washes out really easily.The colour is a really nice lilac-y pink. The application could not be simpler. Squeeze some out of the tube, pick a section of hair, start at the bottom and work up to the roots. Comb through and then once dry, brush through (you may need to wipe your brush after as some colour can show on the bristles) You need to brush it through as makes the hair really stiff but goes back to normal after brushing.The smell of the colour is really nice and fruity and it actually lingers in the hair after it's dried.I've used this several times and it's looked really nice every time and then washes out without leaving any colour residue, which I normally worry about with dyed blonde hair - high lift tint and ... MoreI really liked this. So easy - I used green on brunette

I was always curious about this, having tried the spray version when it was on offer. Temporary colours are so fun and reliable for that quick pop of colour! You don't have to be tied down either. I loved how easy the application was and how the colour showed up on my brunette hair. Luckily this colour washes out for me (in around 5 washes...or more, depending on shampoo). It's a worry free option for me, but 100% fun! Keep an eye out, I often find shades in Savers. I recommend.

Works on dark Asian hair!

I bought this for my daughter because she wants to color her hair but I'm uncomfortable with permanent dye. I did a lot of research and thought I'd give this a try. This works really great in straight, dark, Asian hair!I put it on at night for her and she went to sleep with it on. There wasn't any transfer and it was still on her head all day the next day. You can get a ton in your hands, but it comes off easily with water. My only concern is how much you'd end up using for a whole head - especially if it's long.In the photo she's wearing this one and the raspberry10 in the photo
