It is great that this eye serum is lightweight in texture AND formula (1.5% hyaluronic acid and 1% caffeine) to make room for other ingredients I am slathering on my skin on any given day. I had to admit I was quite skeptical of this product at first. Being 49 years old, I had tried many different eye serums over the years that just didn't hold up. I really liked the packaging and the bottle is really cute and the perfect size to slip into your your makeup bag for travelling. There is no strong smell to this product either. The wand was really easy to use and I loved the 3 sterling silver balls to help make the application easier. The product went on very smooth, although it did take me a few tries to work out the best way to apply it. I still thought this might have been just a case of only working when I used it, but I can honestly tell you after three weeks of using this product, I can definitely see an improvement in my fine lines and even in the bags under my eyes. I am actually so impressed with this product that I have started using it around my nose and mouth for my marionette lines in the hope that I see the same improvement in those lines. As I said the only small fault I found was the residue left after first application, but that doesn't last, as long as you give the product time to dry before applying anything over the top. I can definitely vouch for this product and would 100% recommend it.

When applying the serum as directed over my eyelids I've found that because I have hooded eyes the serum is sticky and makes me eyelids stick to the skin above this area. The serum does have quite a tacky reside to it but after around 5 minutes it does absorb and dry nicely leaving the area very hydrated. I've found that when I'm time poor that fanning my face with my hands helps to dry it. I've noticed the little cooling metal balls on the applicator don't move and roll around on your skin when applying the serum so I wouldn't really call it a Breakthrough Triple Roller Applicator because they don't actually roll or move. I actually would prefer to apply this serum with my finger as I found the applicator a bit scratchy and harsh on my delicate eye skin. But because the serum is so watery it's impossible to apply with my finger. I would also prefer to apply it with my fingers as I don't find the applicator to be unhygienic as I've noticed I can see little bits of what I'm assuming is skin that the applicator has picked up from my face inside the bottle and the formula has gone slightly cloudy. As for results and from reading the information on the box it comes in I had high expectations which weren't met. I had greatly hydrated skin which looked brighter and fresher but that's about it. After 2 weeks all eye wrinkles are meant to be smoothed. I didn't have any changes to any of my lines and wrinkles through the entire trial. This is a good hydrating serum for the eyes but that's about it.

This is my first eye serum, having mostly used eye creams before. This is a nice product, but it probably won’t change your life. I used this product morning and night after cleansing and toning with my usual products. The wand applicator with metal balls is a great feature, I think this was helpful in de-puffing my eyes and boosting circulation. Running the applicator in little circles over my under-eye skin felt ridiculous, but I do think ultimately it worked! I used this product morning and night after cleansing and toning with my usual products. The wand applicator with metal balls is a great feature, I think this was helpful in de-puffing my eyes and boosting circulation. Running the applicator in little circles over my under-eye skin felt ridiculous, but I do think ultimately it worked! I didn’t see significant changes in fine lines etc, but I think puffiness on the whole was reduced. When I stopped using it for a few days I did seem to notice my lines a bit more and that my skin was drier. This is a pleasant product to use - I expect it would have different results depending on what your under eye skin is like. I will continue using it, but I think I would try something else next time.

You get a lot on that applicator, so I let some of the serum drain off in the bottle before applying and then gently pat in the extra around my eyes. It is a bit sticky at first but then sinks into your skin and dries within a minute or two. It may different on the amount of it take to actually see visible results and also depends on how frequently you use it as part of your skincare routine, however I did see visible results especially how brighter my under eyes became. The REAL departure point here is that the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Eye Serum actually works. I'm 52. I have lines around my eyes. And puffiness and dark circles. While this isn't a panacea for that triumvirate of evil, I am very happy to confirm that I have definitely noticed a significant improvement in the lessening of fine lines around the corners and underneath my eyes. There's a whole heap of instructions about preferable application methods and processes on the packaging. I always reckon that those levels of specificity provide an easy 'out' should the product not meet its claims. In any event, I was largely compliant with the instructions and am pretty chuffed with results after three weeks. But do please note the lag time between use and visible effects was absolutely in keeping with the spiel. I will happily continue using this product and am grateful to have trialled it. It's pleasant to use, light, readily absorbed and the biggie: it works.
