L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Mascara - Black

Bought this after seeing a review on Youtube; I do love it & it really is that good, but I do find it to be very wet. I have to hold my eyes only 1/2 open till my lashes dry as I have hooded eyes & it'll transfer onto my brow-bone if I don't. I find it too wet for my bottom lashes, but most are anyway so I use a Mabelline Mascara on them.

My favourite mascara ever! It’s drugstore so the price is affordable, something I value in mascaras because they go off soon. The wand is slightly curved and it is amazing at lengthening your lashes. It doesn’t do much for volume but I like a lengthening mascara so it doesn’t bother me. The formula is long lasting and doesn’t flake or clump! I’ve used the black and the blackest black shade and I honestly don’t notice a difference, so you’re good with either one!

A staple mascara for length and definition

Fantastic wand with thin rubber bristles, excellent for reaching all lashes easily. Gives great length and definition of lashes. The formula leans towards the wet side. I always use this on my lower lashes. It is very black and most mornings I only need to apply one coat. I also love the original in the gold packaging. Will continue to repurchase - it is worth the money.

Absolute waste of money

Doesn't lengthen, clumps horribly, and holds too much product on the brush, lashes stick together. Don't bother. Maybelline Illegal Lengths was the best mascara out of L'Oreal and of course they have discontinued it. It had a great brush that lengthened and separated lashes without clumping . . . ever!

Extreme length, but smudges a bit

This mascara isn't joking about telescopic lashes. This is the most lengthening formula I have ever used. It makes me eyelashes so long with only the smallest amount of product. However, because the formula is so thick, it's prone to clumping and does smudge under the eyes - especially if the rest of your face is bare. It's definitely not a wear-alone mascara, so I'm taking a point off for that.

My go to mascara!

I've been through my fair share of mascaras over the years, and I'm terrible at putting on mascara without ending up looking like a panda, but, this mascara and the Carbon Black are so easy to use. No clumps, separates lashes beautifully, long lasting, I've slept in them (not my proudest moments) and they still looked pretty good in the morning. It gives great length but not thick or gunky. They are my easy go to mascaras!

PERFECT for bottom lashes

Awesome product, the colour is such a deep black colour but the formula is a little heavy (I switched to an asian brand fibre mascara a few months ago so now every other brand of mascara I use feels heavy). The wand and the formula; however, are absolutely perfect for doing my bottom lashes. Excellent coverage, coats my lashes evenly and no fall out! Bonus: literally you can apply layer on layer on layer to your bottom lashes. It’s a bit wet though so just be careful if you’ve just applied it to your bottom lashes.

Pretty lashes

I like this mascara very much. I have blonde, very sparse, invisible eye lashes. This mascara very quickly coats and separates the lashes. It seems to be lengthening rather than particularly thickening and gives me natural and pretty lashes. It is a very wet mascara. On the negative side, it is not at all waterproof.

SO GOOD

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! Made my non-existent lashes look AMAZING! They look fake they’re so good! I get compliments all the time! Honestly I can’t explain my lashes are SO short but they look so long and beautiful with this mascara! Even without curling them!!!

Would Not Buy Again

I bought this mascara because of all the hype it received on TikTok. I was literally mesmerised by the results people were getting, so I begged my sister to buy it for me. My expectations were quite high, and you can imagine my disappointment when it did nothing for my eyelashes. Did not lengthen my eyelashes, did not separate my eyelashes, did not even keep my eyelashes curled. Wouldn’t be surprised if the formula was just dyed water. Very disappointed, will not be buying again.
