L'Oreal Paris True Match Liquid Foundation 6.N Honey

I don’t know why I have held off for so long in trying this. Maybe because it is $28CDN and I can get better for less??? Probably a big reason… I was down in the States and stopped in Target to check out all the cosmetics that I can’t get in Canada. I found the True Match shelf and saw that they are only $9USD!!! I figured at that price ($12-13CDN) I finally had to give it a go. I am so happy I did. What an amazing product. At first I wasn’t sure. It is quite a watery formula so I was scared it was going to be too sheer. However, nothing to be scared of. You get a beautiful finish with perfect coverage. Nothing heavy, just even skin and all imperfections blurred away. It feels so light on the skin too. It’s not heavy and looks gorgeous as the day goes on. It controls my oily skin without an issue. Colour match is phenomenal too. There are so many options and I had zero issues finding my perfect match. There is even a QR code on the shelves to assist you. I love this foundation and on my next US trip, I’ll be stocking up.

The foundation itself is gorgeous. I would say its a natural finish. Not too matte not too shiny. It's forgiving, as in you van blend it really essily if your going in with light even layers it lays beautifully. The coverage is perfect. You can go in with less and its perfect for "no make up makeup" days or add more its perfect for full glam. Although this isn't the current foundation I use, it is by far one of my favorites. Tbh, there's no specific reason why I don't use it anymore. I started creating content just found others I liked a bit more that I was able to find. Sometimes, it was difficult to find my shade.

This foundation was the first foundation I've ever tried and after using an few other drugstore foundations, I can state that this one has been the best drugstore foundation I've used. However, the color match was initially tricky as at first I used C7 as Beyonce was the brand ambassador at the time and it was stated she wore that color 😄 I don't have cool undertones and I don't think Beyonce does either? But, at this time I wasn't aware of undertones so I've come from. The color was also darker on me and was not a true match. Sometimes foundations can be difficult to find your 'perfect match' pun intended ha, but if you ever did purchase a wrong shade of ANY foundation brand, there is a quick and easy fix you can do.. go on Amazon and look for those foundation mixing pigments and they can change the undertones in foundations. Sometimes I buy foundations that like half a shade to dark but if I went with the next shade it would way to dark so I buy this blue mixing foundation paint and it basically turns foundation from warm to cool and there is different colors to pick from even if you needed a foundation that was to 'cool' mix in orange and it ... MoreThis foundation is beautiful. I absolutely love the L'Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundation! This foundation is perfect for those who want a natural and flawless look. I had this foundation used on me awhile ago for a couple of theatre shows and honestly for the price it is pretty good! It had a really nice finish and did not dry my skin out or cause any unwanted creasing for me and it stayed on for the duration that I needed! I would opt out personally for a lighter shade just bc that’s my personal skin tone but as for the foundation and the way it wears it is pretty solid in the way it finishes and holds up. It’s somewhere in between Mat and dewy. I really loved the finish it had and would definitely purchase again if they had the correct shade and definitely if I was on a budget! I would recommend this to anyone on a budget, it really does have a good quality!

Decent quality for the price

I bought this because it was suggested as a reasonable substitute for my usual foundation, which is no longer affordable for me. Ultimately its a decent foundation. It blends well and the shade match to my usual foundation was good. It does stay put, as promised and doesn't turn orange throughout the day. The consistency is a thinner than I like but maybe i'm not shaking it well enough? This comes in a wide range of shades to match all skin tones and undertones, it comes in at a quarter of the price of my usual foundation and is almost as good. Will probably use it throughout the spring and Summer but switch to a full coverage product for autumn and winter as this product is light to medium cover.

What's not to love apart from it being a bit runny

I've been using this for a few years now out all the foundations I have used over 20 years of using foundations I think I've used every single one on the market lol. This one does it for me; reason being is that I've got a very funny shade when it comes to my skin tone I'm neither light skin black or dark skin its like I'm a few shades on the in-between. I find that this foundation I use either toffee shade or noisette shade which is as close as it gets to my shade but even still it can be tricky. So what I do is tend to do is mix a second foundation by loreal which is called L'Oréal oxygen foundation now this one I absolute wish I bought years ago because this foundation sticks to the brush no drip. ... MoreI absolutely love this foundation, that is why I had to comment. this foundation has changed my life

my previous foundation was running out, i really liked it but i needed a better job. i bought a foundation from a big makeup store and returned it the next day. i was walking through coles and bam I saw this. I thought about the fact that it has hydrochloric acid and my skin has a lot of acne. so I knew this was a plus already. I noticed it says perfectly matches to skin tone and color which is good because I may be caucasian but I have a red/brown under tone to my skin due to my Sri Lankan and Irish heritage. so most can't figure out my "color match".
