L'Oreal Professionnel Silver Shampoo 1500ml

Im always looking to try new purple shampoos and got a chance to try this one. I have to say i’m pleasantly surprised. Previously I was using Amika Bust Your Brass (and I still love it), this L’Oreal one shares a lot of the qualities I really like about that one with one advantage. The color! I’m platinum blonde/white and really love that over-toned look when i’m not full lavender. This shampoo definitely has a lot of toning power and when left to sit gives me that look I like. So i’d image it would pack an effective punch with darker or brassier hair. The toning is lasting, I use this once every one-two weeks washing normally between and my hair stays icy fresh. Especially in conjunction with the corresponding conditioner my hair both looks and feels great. Soft, shiny and totally toned. Smells pretty good too, the conditioner a bit better than the shampoo but still pleasant once your hair is dried.

Brass Be GONE

I received this complimentary thanks to L’Oréal and Influencer for my honest review! I have been looking for a good brass banisher /purple shampoo that actually works and I think this one would have gotten 5 stars had I gotten it at a different time. Unfortunately I had recently dyed the bottom of my hair purple and kept my natural dirty blonde color on top. So when I used this it turned my purple into grey & there were also strips of grey throughout the rest of my hair. However it did take away the brass that was left behind!!!! So With that,I’d only use it if you have bleached hair/white or need a good purple shampoo to get rid of those brassy tones! Lastly, the smell is just okay, I prefer the conditioner scent more.. My new favorite shampoo for blonde hair

I received this shampoo for free for my honest review.My first impression was - the bottle with a pump is very comfortable to use. The color of shampoo is very intense purple but it is not messy to use in the shower, it washes easily from tiles unlike other shampoos. I really liked the smell, it is not strong and reminds me of some expensive perfume. Shampoo is very concentrated, I need only a small amount, so it is worth the price. It lathers really well and you don’t need to keep it on your hair longer to see the results, it takes brassiness right away. After using it, my hair felt really soft and color was beautiful, natural and without visible purple tone. I will definitely continue to use this shampoo, and will repurchase in the future.

New favorite purple shampoo

I have been avoiding using any purple shampoo for toning my hair. Many other brands that I have tried have left my hair dried up or did not tone evenly. That is until this product. I have to say this shampoo conditioner duo has exceeded my expectations. There is a light scent, and the shampoo is a dark purple color. I leave it 2-3 minutes and rinse, and rnd up with the perfectly toned light blonde hair. Honestly, it brightened my hair so much that it obviously looks lighter. I would recommend trying it if you want to maintain a platinum blonde, silver or even balayage / highlights.I received this product for free from @influenster and @loreal in exchange for my honest review.

Shampoo & Conditioner Review

I first tried the shampoo alone to see how it functioned, and used my normal conditioner. I honestly did not see a difference until I added the Silver conditioner the next time that I used it. The conditioner added after the shampoo did take the brassiness out, and made my hair soft. It's definitely very purple, and will make a mess of the shower at first. Not to worry, it washes away like home hair dye. There are safety instructions, make sure to do a test patch before applying to your entire head to make sure you aren't allergic. The downside of the conditioner, in my opinion, is the smell of the conditioner. I am very sensitive when it comes to scents, and this smelled like an old 90s perfume, maybe Donna Karen Cashmere? Slight lilac tint

Since my hair has regrown following cancer treatment I’ve decided keep my natural silver/ grey colour that iv been disguising for 25 years! That being said I’m always looking for a shampoo to enhance the colour & shine. This product is nice to use- however I do gel hat t very slightly darkens the silver (I’m very light silver) & occasionally I’ve noticed a slight lilac tinge at the sides of my hair. This is a “pet peeve” as I really do not want to look like I’m trying to be “trendy” with lilac hair - it reminds me to much of the old dears in decades gone by who departed the hair salon every week proudly sporting a “blue rinse” So when I do use it I tend to rinse off immediately as if it’s left for any length of time it will stain. The Best Purple Shampoo and Conditioner I've Found

I received this to try for free in exchange for my opinion. I really liked the bottle design. The shampoo and conditioner were both purple which was new to me. I had never tried a purple conditioner before. They were pigmented pretty dark which is good. They did make a bit of a mess and got on everything while I was washing my hair. BUT it rinsed off very easily when I was finished. My hair felt so soft and silky after just the first use. I also noticed my hair was more blonde and less brassy after the first few washes. I have tried several different purple shampoos in the past and they all dried my hair out terribly. This shampoo and conditioner does not do that and has actually improved the health of my hair!
