L'Oreal Revitalift Volume Filler Revolumizing Day Cream Moisturizer -48g/1.7oz

I've never used any anti-aging products before, because I have acne-prone skin and have been terrified that they'd break me out. And unfortunately, after just one use, that's EXACTLY what happened w/this product. It felt heavy and yucky on my skin after a few hours of wear, and as the day went on I could feel blemishes starting to blossom- predominantly around the lower half of my face, and after around 8hrs of wear I was literally fighting the urge to go scrub it all off. At the end of the day I could not WAIT to get this stuff off me, and the next day? -I could not BELIEVE the breakouts. (Seriously, it was shocking. This stuff gave me colonies of those deep, cystic, painful blemishes that fester under the skin in giant lumps, inflamed & and angry for ages. :[ As heavy as this stuff is (especially in direct contrast to the notably lighter Night Cream in the same line), I'm kind of surprised the two products aren't switched around. (Isn't the Night Cream usually the heavier stuff..?)Anyway, now I'm afraid to put this stuff back on my skin. I was sparing w/the application and followed the directions to the letter, and I really, really don't want to invite another demonic face possession. So.. perhaps I'll be giving this to a friend or neighbor, 'cause right now I'm just too nervous to go through all that again. It's almost 2 weeks ago that I tried this stuff for the first and only time- and I still have one or 2 deep skin-creatures that have yet to go away. And there are still varying levels of remains where the other blemishes happened. :(Overall I give it 2 stars, 'cause it felt really nice when it went on- but everything went downhill from there. I'm just grateful I got it for free as part of a review site, rather than paying for it out of pocket. And to be fair, if you have really, really dry skin this stuff might work for you. However, if you DO have acne-prone skin like me, I'd definitely say STEER CLEAR.

The inside of the jar has a protective lift-lid directly over the cream; a great way to avoid wasting any product on your lid seal. The cream has a lovely, delicate scent to it; I can’t quite put my finger on the exact scent, but it definitely smells like a spa-quality product. The scent does not linger very long after application which is great for those who are sensitive to smells. The moisturizer has a medium consistency which allows it to smooth nicely onto the skin and absorbs quickly; definitely a plus as you do not have to prolong your beauty process very much. The moisturizer does not leave behind a weird or greasy residue like so many other facial moisturizers that I have tried in the past. I have been using this moisturizer every morning and night (as instructed by the packaging) for about a week and a half now. I have simply been smoothing the cream over my entire face paying special attention to my jaw line, cheekbones, under eye area and nasal labial folds as those are the parts of your face that begin to show signs of aging first. Right after applying the cream, my face felt smooth and hydrated; definitely a perfect base for flawless makeup. A few hours after my first application, I could already see a difference in my skin; it looked more hydrated and supple. Now, a week and a half later, I can see a significant difference in the overall firmness of my skin. Considering the results that I have seen in such a short amount of time, I am hopeful that with continued use, I will see the full promised results after 4 weeks. Overall, I am quite impressed with this moisturizer and look forward to keeping it as a staple in my beauty routine. I received this volume filler moisturizer for free in exchange for my unbiased critique of its quality and performance. I would most certainly recommend this moisturizer to anyone looking to combat the earliest signs of aging.

I don't drink enough water (bad habit, I know) but I have combination skin, so a good moisturizer is tricky for me. It needs to hydrate without feeling greasy and that's a fine tightrope walk for a lot of heavy duty moisturizers on the market. This L'Oreal Paris Revitalift one is heavy duty without feeling greasy (it absorbs well on clean skin) but it's a bit thicker than I'd like for the day time (it says use day and night for best results). I think I'll stick to their serum and eye cream in the morning and use this as my night cream as I didn't care for their Revitalift night cream (too heavy for my oily/combination skin). BEWARE: my product required pressure & some pulling to apply

I did not like this for two big reasons. If you have older skin with ANY lines, you know that if you have to apply pressure or pulling, to apply a product, that is bad news! This product does NOT glide on, unlike the Revitalift Volume filler, that the same company makes that does not contain any SPF. My skin loves that stuff! I do have to apply a great deal of pulling and pressure to get the Revitalift Revolumizing Day Moisturizer on my face. I have used it several times on a clean face. It also has a much thinner, less moisturizing feel, after application. My product was from Lot 2OU801 and Exp 07/2023. Didn't work for me

I received this product to try in exchange for my review. Unfortunately it just did not work out for me. I am in my mid-30s and have combination skin, fairly normal. This moisturizer, to start, has a very strong perfume scent. For me it did not irritate my skin at all, however I find it really unnecessary to have scented skincare as many people are sensitive to added fragrance and the alcohol associated with it. I used the moisturizer both day and night. It feels very smooth going on, to me it felt just like a makeup primer, in that it sits on top of the skin instead of absorbing. I found that later, after application, if I rubbed or scratched my face at all, the moisturizer would ball up or flake off and leave white specks all over my face - not a good look! Different texture

I bought this exact product while in Portugal and it was amazing on my skin, even got compliments. When I returned to States and finished the product i had I bought the same thing and am disappointed that there is an obvious difference between what is sold in the States and what is sold in Portugal. The texture of the cream here is heavier and greasy. It does not have same effect on my skin. I am sadly disappointed.

First time to use this product and love it

I use L’Oréal products for the longest time . But this was the first time to purchase thrcrevilumuzervmiisteruzer. I absolutely love it . Defenently recommend it ! Especially from my fave store for cosmetics CVS . I got dals w the coupons and will purchase this product again . Thank you !

Lack of absorbency...

My experience with Revitalift Volume Filler (Moisturizer/Hydratant) has been limited admittedly. (About one week.)I did not expect overnight results but here is my disappointment with this product. There remains a cake-like film each morning which I can actually "roll" off with my fingers. There seems to be no absorbency occurring overnight. Is this to be expected?

Possible NEW Revitalift Routine for me!!

Received these wonderful samples from #trywithtopbox #freeproduct over a week ago!!! I’m not one for a daily routine of face care, and am used to baby wash and lotions as my routine. I started Revitalift Face Cleanser & Toner as I am one to wear powder foundation, liquid latex eyeliner and mascara. This cleanser removed all of the makeup with ease but I fund it left my skin very dry, probably from the exfoliating aspect. The Revitalift Toner tightened up my skin but stung a little applying it, I suspect this is from the dry skin areas. However, this left my skin feeling like I had a mini facelift! Super soft and ultra smooth hydrating cream

I have combination/dry skin with an oily t-zone and drier on the cheeks. I used the product both day and night and found it to be very hydrating. It’s a lightweight, gel-crème texture that left my skin feeling smooth and ultra-soft, and very hydrated. It has a light, fresh fragrance that was pleasant and did not linger on the face. I really enjoyed using this cream on my neck the most for its hydrating feel. This was just a beautiful crème that was not greasy in any way and absorbed quickly into the skin. It didn’t cause me any break outs which I considered a bit surprising given it is a scented product.On to the packaging. It comes in an expensive looking jar, which makes it feel luxurious but also relatively heavy. A regular squeezy tube is my first choice followed by a tube with a pump.
