The foundation itself is very liquidy, so it's able to blend out quite well. But, the only problem is it kinda have fine glitters in them? Not the chunky type tho. I didn't knew it contains glitter since it didnt mention any of it cus I was more into the matte type. So if you're more into a glowy type look, this is probably suitable for you. But other than that, it's overall quite well, it's coverage is amazing, and the colour is so similar to my original skintone. It doesn't have any particular strong scent.

Beats most of the higher end brands

This is a product that can sit with higher-end brands but even is better than some. One of the best drugstore foundations and provides great wear and coverage. I although have two different shades as I have a neutral skin tone. I love that you only need a little to make it work so my bottle has lasted quite a while. I usually come back to this formula as I've found it works best for my skin. I use a flat head brush and even sometimes my fingers to warm the product up and both looked great. Make sure to shake the bottle before use and clean the tip as leftover makeup can dry on the end and fall into the product that comes out. If you want something super reliable and really affordable this is a great place to start.

Beautiful and perfect shade! Stays on all day!

I started using LOreal True Match 5W about eight months ago and I love it! I am Spanish with Asian descent, so my skin has a little yellow undertone and its hard to get a perfect color, but True Match has soooo many shades that I was able to find the perfect one! I used to mix 2 to 3 different shades of Physicians Formula to find a good color, but now I only have to use one shade of True Match! I wear it to the office every day and it stays on all day. It goes on smoothly and covers my small freckles with a little extra foundation around that area. I am VERY pleased with this product and I highly recommend it.

If it were long wear it would be perfect

Not too matte, not too glowy, just the right amount of everything. I prefer a medium coverage and this nearly meets it. It actually could be a good medium coverage but because the shade match is so good the result is just a better me. I do use powder, Coty Air spun, which I've used for decades as well, and they play nicely together. What I don't like is that this does transfer to my glasses, and it does tend to slide and rub off as the day goes on, but not in a horrible way. On the days I don't need a foundation to last past a 16 hour work day, true match is my go to. I really like the finished result. But working two jobs means I want my foundation to last as long as possible, and this is where it doesn't perform for me. This is where it loses points. It doesn't claim to be a long wear and I don't expect it to do something it won't do, but I love being surprised when something overachieves. This isn't that foundation. The bottom line is it's a fabulous product that looks great on mature skin and does a great job if you're going somewhere special or you don't need a powerhouse of a foundation. I do use this on the daily when I have a "normal" day, and I've repurchased it several times. There is a reason this has been around a long time, it's that good. I'm glad I finally gave it another shot.

It's very natural-looking but much better. My large pores disappear into a smooth finish. I find it easy to get a matching foundation if there are only 2 or 3 shades in a range, but I often have trouble if there are numerous colour choices. Perfect colour, flawless natural looking skin

Bought this a few days ago after some research online - very fair skin and ordered (0.5c). Perfect match, made my skin look like a china doll (in a good way!) lightweight and not cakey. Quite runny but I liked that, started at the T-zone and used a combination of fingers, brush and sponge to blend outwards. I have some slightly flakey dry areas as well as a few blemishes but this foundation really concealed them well. I cleansed, lightly exfoliated, moisturised, jojoba oil and sunscreened beforehand. No pilling - really pleased with the product !!

I have been a regular customer of your products for more than two decades, with wich I have felt fully satisfied, and for the last ten years I have been married with the iconic True Match foundation, because has been the only product in the entire market that has worked perfectly on my skin. But in this moment I Feel totally disappointed with the new product imported from France by L´oreal Canada, which you have called the new version of True Match.This new version is not matte at all, and after two hours makes look the skin shiny, greasy and sticky to the touch. The pores of the skin are maximized and shows more the imperfections of the face, plus it, transfer to clothing and this is frustrating.I followed all instructions given by you, to find my color in the new version; since in the traditional I use W3 during winter and W4 during summer, but definitely the new True Match don´t MATCH, and unfortunately in these times of post-pandemic inflation, many of us can´t afford to be trying and trying colors and products and at the end of the day not be satisfied with the results.The reason why many women love the previous version is because of the naturalness that it leaves with not shine at all, the SPF 15 that helps to protect the skin; and only with one layer or a maximum of two, you get the expected coverage. With the new formula, that is too liquid, you have to put up to three layers, and even with a single layer the skin looks terrible; I think that if we were looking for an ultralight coverage we would choose to buy a BB cream, or if we were looking for hydration we would buy theL´oreal True Match Hyaluronic Tinted serum; or if we were looking for luminosity we would buy the True Match Lumi, but that we are looking is a nice matte coverage wich is not provided by the new version.Something that really annoys and makes customers feel unhappy is the publicity that they have given in some stores in Canada, where customers are confused and believe that only the packaging has been changed, but after having bought, the reality is different.I just hope, my concerns be heard, because I Would not like to stop being a fan of your products.
