L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara Waterproof Black

I have the worst eyelashes - straight, short and thin. Therefore finding a mascara that holds a curl, lengthens, AND volumizes is nearly impossible. So of course I’m very picky with my mascara and I can honestly say that this one does the job well! The wand is the best part. It acts like a comb for your lashes by distributing the product evenly and simultaneously brushing through each lash. This means no clumps! It does a good job of creating the appearance of thick lashes without clumping or having eyelashes stick to each other. Side note: I discovered that using waterproof mascara helps hold a curl so I only use waterproof now. Also, it lasts all day with zero bleeding or issues! You don't understand how much I love this mascara. I have been using it for 10 years. People have come and gone from my life, but this mascara has been through the highs and lows of my 20s. I have very straight lashes, literally impossible to hold a curl. Waterproof mascaras are the only solution to this.With every other mascara for me it's either it clumps too much or doesn't thicken at all. This thickens just enough, separates, lengthens a good amount, and holds a curl (!!) it really ends up having a beautiful and natural effect. It does everything. The bristles are small and the font on the tube blends well with the other colours used. The colours stood out from afar and looks like a decent mascara not any old cheap one. When you twist the lid to close it, you can feel it click back into place so you know it is secure. This was another great feature which I really enjoyed.DisadvantagesI could not find any disadvantages for this product.SafetyPackagingThe product came packed in a padded envelope and it was not damaged in anyway whatsoever. To be completely honest about it I love it mostly on my lower lashes. It really gave me that Twiggy look effortlessly, and did a good job at lengthening my lashes. Id consider it a dupe for the Benefit Yes, Theyre Real mascara, but, nothing beats the real thing. For about 1015 less tho, and to get a very similar effect Im definitely not complaining. Tho Im almost certain that the one I got isnt waterproof lol. My all time favorite mascara at the moment is still Benefits Roller Lash Mascara simply because it does an amazing job at giving my lashes volume, and enhances both the length and curl of my lashes without any clumping, smudging, or black dots around my eyes. This mascara did thicken my lashes a bit but again, I already have thick lashes so I dont consider myself to be the best judge of that, but when I took my time I realized that it actually thickened each Lash individually, and lengthened them effortlessly, which all in all gave me that very dolleyed look, especially when focused on the lower Lash line. For me, I would repurchase this again and again because for one, its cheaper than a Benefit mascara, and two, if Im only using it on my lower Lashes I dont need to be buying two different Benefit mascaras to be giving me the full effect I want for my lashes altogether if I have a dupe of one that does the EXACT same thing for my lower lashes that the YesTheyreReal mascara does. Im much happier continuing to repurchase the benefitcosmetics RollerLashMascara for my top lashes and the lorealmakeup TelescopicMascara for my bottom lashes if it means Im saving money and still looking fly as ever. You all who need a mascara for your lower lashes I recommend checking this mascara out. And if youre weird about drugstore products, the Benefit mascara is always out there too.

Longtime Favorite

I have been using this since high school- I am 33 now and still using it. I could suitably say it's my "holy grail" mascara. Have tried many different things through the intervening years, but I always come back to this one. If you have naturally long or densely packed eyelashes this will flatter them like no other. Not a ton of volume but excellent feathered/fanned-out effect. Holds a curl well, not the easiest to remove with only a micellar water but an oil-based product will take it off nicely. It has a long lifespan too; I can usually get one of these tubes to last me around 4 months even with regular use. Never going to forgive L'Oréal if they discontinue this.

Nice product with just a few downsides to note

This mascara makes my lashes look like I have lash extensions. For reference, I do already have a lot of lashes and they are long but they are pointed straight and I was always unable to find a mascara that adds volume and holds a curl. I saw that this was recommended by Allie Glines - she has amazing lashes so I just had to try this out.This holds the curl from the eyelash curler for the whole day. I'm not sure if this is a waterproof mascara or not but it's also easy to remove than most waterproof mascaras so yay I lose a lot less lashes with this mascara. The applicator is flexible and the shape allows me to reach every single lash and reach the base of the lashes properly. I am able to run a lash comb through to separate the lashes once dry for those that clump a bit. It gives a very doll eyed vibe to the lashes. It flakes slightly on me but I live in a humid country anyways.At the price that it is at, I'm willing to compromise on those flaws but do want to let other people know in case they are particular about these. The applicator design prevents it from having too much excess product. It does feel a bit heavy and irritate eyes slightly if worn for a long time.
