I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I love truffle flavour things, so this was a real treat for me. This tastes really good, the truffle taste was definitely there and it was divine drizzled over a freshly toasted piece of bread. I would definitely buy this again and will continue to use in pasta dishes, for dipping and in any other meals I can think of!

I don't understand the other review as in my opinion this is an awful product with no good qualities...but I suppose anything could taste good if you pair it with feta and olives. Firstly, it does not taste remotely like extra virgin olive oil, but regular old olive oil. I suppose that isn't terrible but considering the fact they not only taste different (as in my opinion EVOO has a richer flavour) but EVOO is also more expensive. I could have just bought regular oil for cheap! - not impressed. Secondly, the ghastly fake truffle taste ruins any redeemable qualities. It is awful. So synthetic and reminds me of an old shoe...to say the least 'funky' tasting for lack of a better word. Finally, the constancy is so watery! I love EVOO drizzled over new potatoes with salt ... I understand now why chefs share a hatred for faux truffle products after tasting this!

This used to cost £1.65, now it's £3.25 now it's double that! Absolutely ridiculously massive price increase. I will not continue to buy at this price.

I am reviewing this because I got a free sample from Ocado. I have tried this oil on salad and pasta. It has a mild flavour, more like a hint of truffle, rather than truffle oil, so if you want to get a truffley hit, I wouldn't serve it with anything too strongly flavoured. I did like this oil and it is good value for the price.
I was given this for a review. Really nice olive oil then there is the truffle flavour. Not sure what to do with this and first thoughts were a dip with a nice loaf or to accompany a salad. Tried the salad but its a bit overpowering so next the bread. Not to bad with a thickly cut Tiger loaf but then came the answer - roast potatoes or fried sliced potatoes using this oil ! Really enjoyable but feel a bit guilty using this virgin oil in cooking. I did and it was nice so at least I was happy :)
We eat a lot of pasta in our house and some olive oils can almost ruin the taste. This oil tasted delicious drizzled over pasta with some Parmesan cheese and went really well with rocket salad too. Once barbecue season really gets underway, I look forward to experimenting with this some more. Great value for money as only need a little drizzle.
Received this as a free gift, in response for an unbiased review. Normally purchase Extra virgin olive oil from Berio. This is a more expensive one, but the taste I dont sense the white truffle taste. We used on salad neat, as well as creating a vinegarette dressing, but didnt taste any different to what we usually have. I probably wouldn't purchase again - always been happy with the Italian oil & would continue to stick with what we have been happy with for the past 20 years.
I ordered this by accident thinking I'd added unflavoured oil, I've never tasted real truffle so I cannot compare the taste with the real thing. So far I've drizzled it on mackerel and fish fingers and it complemented the tastes of both. I need to limit the amount of oil on my food and the dropper in the bottle did the job.
Got this free from Ocado to review. Lovely oil. Was looking for one to add to my risotto and this one was perfect for that. It's not too overpowering and you just need a touch to have that lovely truffle taste. Love the price point too as some others are much more and not any better. Will buy it when this runs out.
This is a lovely product because it is a reasonable price for something containing truffle. Most products like this are at least double the price, so I was skeptical how good this could be, but it’s lovely. You can really taste and smell the truffle flavour in it. Hopefully it won’t go up in price!
