This is the brightest gold/yellow oil I have ever seen! I tried it a few different ways. I've mixed this oil with a peptide moisturizer, it worked well but took a lot of mixing to get them to incorporate together to spread on my skin. I've also tried it as the last step of my routine, 2 drops pressed into the skin and i prefer that method more! I wakeup the next morning with glowing skin, but not oily! That's the thing about this oil, applied onto the skin and you just have a subtle glow not a layer of grease it's odd yet amazing! If only this wasn't super pricy, I'd have this as a staple in my routine especially during colder months for the added layer of hydration.

Dry skin dream

This oil is amazing! I have very dry skin and always loved facial oils. This one by la mer is really something else. It’s so lightweight and easily absorbs into the skin. I don’t like when oils just sit on top of your skin and this one definitely does not do that which I LOVE! I also really love how this has a blend of different types of oils from natural ingredients. This makes my dry skin look so hydrated and nourished just by itself. Which says a lot for my skin type. I really think this oil is worth it.

I skipped it two nights and tried it again, and I saw the same results the following day, red, itchy, and swollen (not to the same extent as the first night), but this time I had bumps on the skin too (picture 3). I gave it another try after three days. I mixed three drops of it with the Cream the La Mer, and my skin felt extremely dry and bumpy, and it started to be flaky and give me little pimples (pictures 4 &5). Unfortunately, it did not work well for me. And for this price, I would expect something that would not give me those reactions. In the pictures, you can see that my face was more plump and hydrated, and as I kept trying, it became dry and dryer.

The perfect finale to my nighttime skincare routine. This Oil is a beautiful luxurious experience starting with the soft natural scent that doesn't linger, is calming and very relaxing. I have been using it as my last step I my nighttime skincare routine. It's lightweight but comfortably moisturizing (I have combo skin). It's a non greasy texture that absorbs rather quickly. Even on the dryer areas of my skin this oil does the job of delivering hydration without being too heavy.Since using I've noticed my skin is plump and supple and most importantly comfortably hydrated. Quick absorbing oil!

This is my first experience with an oil that doesn’t leave a slick sheen. This oil dries down matte almost. Your skin feels moisturize, soft and bouncy, but there is no greasy slip. I normally like that sheen that oil leaves behind because it makes your face look nourished and moisturize. But getting past that, the product moisturizes the skin, hydrates, and the smell is very soft, aromatic, almost floral, but not overpowering. I would love to pair this with a moisturizer from the same brand to get the full impact of what the product is meant to do. Important to know this product can be used on skin, face nails, etc. also, make sure to shake before you use.

Wow, this renewal oil is unbelievable! I mean, it's La Mer, so I kinda knew I was in for a treat. But this was 10 times better than I could have ever imagined!! It's oil, so I figured, it will be a little sticky? Maybe take some time to dry? Maybe make me a little shiny? NO!! It does not do any of those things! Seriously, I don't understand how it works, but I put this oil on my face and it just sinks in like magic and I'm left with soft, glowing skin!It also has a very faint, calming scent that makes me feel like I'm in a spa. I usually wash my face as soon as I get home from work and then follow up with this oil. I think really liked this oil - all of the 3 times i got to use it anyway. The awkward design of the push-button style dropper is absolutely terrible! After washing my face, with my finger tips damp and/or greasy from the serum i just applied, the dropper slipped right out of my hands, hit the bottle in the fall, knocking it over & it all just went right down the drain. I didn’t know whether to cry or scream, so I did both simultaneously. Funny thing too: before purchasing this i had actually read a review of somebody else saying this same exact thing, but i reassured myself at how i’m always exceptionally careful with my glass-bottled face oils & i’ve never had an issue dropping or knocking them over prior to this.
