Great Quality Pasta! Thank you, Bunch for a fabulously useful sample. My whole family love pasta. This fancy looking package of tagliatelle, with its distinctive and attractive blue and white packaging was found easily in the pasta aisle. The transparent window is a welcome feature, however my one gripe with the packaging is that it is extremely similar to the fettucine in this range. Upon opening, six cute nests of tagliatelle greeted me. There were no broken or crumbled pieces. According to packet instructions, I required 2. 5 litres of water to cook my pasta in. I cooked the pasta for the recommended 6 minutes but found it to still be a little too firm for our liking. I ended up cooking it for an additional 3 minutes. I chose to serve the tagliatelle with my munchkins’ favourite homemade bolognese. The pasta held the sauce well and didn’t disintegrate when stirred into the sauce. The pasta was shiny and looked invitingly tasty. It did not stick together at all while cooking. Everyone ate their pasta dinner happily. Miss 10 enjoyed having a different type of pasta with her bolognese (we are usually a spiral or spaghetti family). However, none of us could really pinpoint a difference between this pasta and our usual Woolworths Australian pasta. I note that the package suggests that it contains just 2 serves of pasta. All I can say is that they must be HUGE serves, as my pack fed two adults and two children with leftovers! A blissfully short ingredients list is wonderful to see. A product of Italy. Although I prefer to buy an Australian product, the best pasta is supposed to come from Italy. A good quality product available at a good price (although not the cheapest available either). I think I’ll generally be sticking with the Australian pasta options available but would also happily re-purchase this on occasion.

Love!! The packaging looks fancy, I like the colours and the see-through window. I had a bit of breakage but the nests were mostly intact. I cooked it a couple of minutes longer than the instructions because it's the way I like it. The first dish I made was a very simple garlic butter mixed through so I could taste and try the texture without too much interference. The second was served with a Napoletana sauce and stinky socks cheese (powdered parmesan cheese). I was in love at first bite perfect taste and texture, the sauces stick perfectly. The price is a bit more than I'm used to paying but I'll keep my eye out for specials. After I tried this, I went and got more. The price means it won't be a staple but it will be a lovely treat sometimes and it will definitely ... MoreLove!! The packaging looks fancy, I like the colours and the see-through window. So Woolies and Bunch, are you watching me?Easy to find on the shelves, looks pretty and fancy and like something that should taste good. I decided to use the sample with a turkey mince bolognese. I read the instructions, it says that the packet is for two people. Firstly, I don’t eat much pasta but to me clearly the six nests does not feed two people, it feeds six! Who in the earth eats that much pasta? If Woolies believes that half the pack is for one person then you need to re-evaluate how many calories and carbs the average person should be eating? I decided to stick to two nests as it just made sense to me. Cooked up like a treat in about eight minutes, a little longer than stated on the pack which is fine. After cooking the two nests looked as though they could easily feed three! It was a lot of pasta for someone who doesn’t adore pasta. I gave it to my partner naked to taste before I "clothed" it in mince and sauce, he wasn’t overly impressed and neither was I. My partner was drawn to the pasta due to the rough texture it appeared to have when it was dry. Cooked it just looked like any other pasta, tasted the same, a bit lighter in density, however was boring and nothing to write home to about. It didn’t taste like egg pasta and I have had egg pasta regularly as a child, but made from scratch. It didn’t make the turkey mince bolognese any more exciting than it would have been with any other brand pasta. It is okay for what it is, pasta, but it isn’t anything special and doesn’t taste like egg pasta so I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who enjoys the taste of authentic homemade pasta. For $3 it is a somewhat acceptable amount if you feed six people but if you are going to eat half a packet for one person then it is rather pricey. Please ignore the suggested 2 people per pack, it is crazy! Someone needs to fix this unless you are directing this pasta towards people who are super carb loading for the gym then sure go for it, get yourself lost in the pasta! I would have preferred to see a $2 price on this item but then again I don’t eat pasta that often so it doesn’t really bother me.

Enjoyed trying. Attractive packaging which allows you to see the lovely little nests. I cooked the pasta a couple of minutes longer, as my partner doesn’t like al dente pasta. I made a very simple tomato, basil and garlic sauce. I thought the pasta had a softer/smoother feel when eating than the usual cheap pasta I buy. I usually only buy penne or spiral as my partner is unable to eat any long strand pasta without looking like a 2yo with pasta sauce on the front of his shirt. He asked for a knife so he could cut his serve into “normal” pasta. I didn’t grow up eating pasta, so a good quality one is probably wasted on me. As I am not a pasta connoisseur, and for the above reasons. I don’t think I will be buying this pasta again.

Wonderful Pasta. I've tried a few different La Molisana pastas already and this one is just as good as the others. Easy to find in Woolworths with the other pastas. It has a nice blue and cream packaging with a large see-through window so that you can see the product within. Cute little nests inside protected by a cardboard box. The plastic can be redcycled and the box recycled although this is not noted on the packaging I also miss seeing the Health Star Rating Made in Italy - which makes me think quality, but would prefer Australian. Cooks quickly - in just 6 mins and holds it form when baking too Really enjoyed my egg and feta pasta bake Would recommend and purchase again.

A Bit Chewy. It felt like a special occasion to get these off the shelf. I never buy pasta like this, I would only purchase it in a restaurant. So, I was unsure how to cook it but luckily there were instructions on the back which I am most grateful for :)The package stated 6 minutes and it seemed to be ready at this time. My son doesn't like tomato sauce or pasta sauce for that matter so he insisted on having a mixture of Kewpie Mayo and Japanese Bulldog sauce on his pasta - which for the record is not my idea of yum. But, he liked it.... his only criticism was that it was too wide and he likes the regular thin spaghetti pasta. I probably wouldn't buy it again only because you don't get much in a pack and my husband likes a big plate of pasta, so I'd have to buy double the amount... it's just easier to stick to the spaghetti pasta for us. It was interesting to try something new though and I really appreciate the opportunity! :) Thanks for reading xx

Delicious and Easy to Cook. Now that the cold weather has set in, I have been craving a deliciously slow cooked beef ragu which I thought would be perfect to enjoy with this sample. I have never purchased pasta like this before and I liked how they were presented in a tray with clear packaging which made it feel like you were purchasing a high quality product. A very delicious experience. We are so impressed with this beautiful tasting Italian pasta hubby had almost bought the shop out the next day with other varieties from this range. Albeit they were half price just after the sample was given at $1. 50 but I still think he at least would have bought the egg pasta again at its normal price of $3. 00, or current sale price now $2. 00. The packaging won an award in 2015, representing and celebrating the 100 year history of the company through its elements of textured paper (on other Pastificio Extra Di Lusso packs ) and by using the history La Molisana, gilded lettering of the traditional Italian language was put on all Pastificio Extra Di Lusso products. Right from the start these products certainly invites you to want to have as close as possible that traditional Italian experience with food, especially for someone as English/Australian as me. The only packaging change I would like to see is if this could be assembled on the tray in a textured paper bag like the other products, to give that real traditional feel at purchase, rather than the plastic sleeve. There are 6 nests of Traditional Italian bronze-cut egg Tagliatelle Pasta in a cardboard tray. Bronze cut simply put means that the pasta is slightly rougher and that makes it better for the sauce to adhere to. THE EXTRA DI LUSSO Egg Tagliatelle cooks in the suggested 6 minutes perfectly. This is great accuracy as it helps with organising other ingredients and cook times. I served mine with a simple top-grade minced beef with a vegetable sauce infused with a splash of garlic oil, topped with a bit of Mozzarella cheese. This is the best Woolworths pasta I have experienced to date and will continue to buy this product as long as it is available These were the only broken bits in the cardboard tray. The La Molisana Company has an impressive website of their products with lots of history if you would like a good read here https://www. lamolisana. it/en/100-years-of-la-molisana-pasta/

Buono! Made in Italy by a company that’s been in the pasta business since 1910 (can’t argue as I wasn’t even born then). Packaged in a carton wrapped in see-through plastic so it’s easy to view what I’m buying. There’s no indication if they’re recyclables so I assumed the carton is bin-recycled and the plastic redcyclable. The colour theme and prints are a little subdued so it didn’t stand out on the shelves and was hard to differentiate from the other boxed pasta. This pasta was dry shaped into round discs, 6 discs in a pack where 1 disc serves one. I cooked 3 discs and there was enough for 3 people. I made a creamy mushroom sauce by browning onion, garlic and parsley in butter then sauteed it with mushrooms followed by cream, lemon juice, parmesan cheese finally seasoning it with S&P. I cooked the pasta as per cooking instruction but cooked it longer than the recommended time of 6mins as we like our pasta a little softer than al dente. I then mixed it with the creamy mushroom sauce and the result was creamy goodness! This pasta delivered in both quality and taste. It was silky smooth, remained firm after cooking and not starchy like some brands. Each strand was just the right thickness but noticed that it didn’t absorb the sauce as much as I would have liked so perhaps other pasta shapes are more suited for this. Pricewise, it is much dearer ($3 / 250g) than most dried pasta brands but the stark difference in quality makes it a worthwhile purchase. I will buy again occasionally, particularly when it’s on special.

Terrific Tagliatelle. This pasta range just cannot do wrong! Every product we’ve sampled so far has been perfecto and this tagliatelle is no exception. Found in the dried pasta section, this product was easy to locate but care must be taken to make sure you pick up the right variety, as the fettuccine looks exactly the same.
