The Cicaplast baume is an old and familiar friend - great for soothing patches of dry skin, or for easing irritation and chafing. My skin concerns are Psoriasis and sensitivity, so products that are soothing, lightweight and that deliver a fast hit of moisture are essential during flare ups. The baume has lots of uses and its place both in my general and Psoriasis specific routines is secured.

I always have a tube of cicaplast in the house. It’s the best for treating all sorts of issues relating to dry skin anywhere on the body. This sample I have received for review has a new ingredient. I have used it a few times since receiving it and to be honest -it looks the same, it feels the same and it seems to provide the same lovely soothing experience of previous tubes I have used. Perhaps I need to use it over a longer period to provide a full review. All I would add in support of my 5star review, is that I still consider it a skin saviour-particularly in the winter when the weather does it’s worst on dry skin and in the summer when a bit too much sun has been on my skin. Use it over night and it’s a little miracle in a tube.

People keep telling it helps with acne. Well in my case it does not much. Hydrates skin overnight. Almost impossible to make it soak to your skin, more likely it will make dirt on you pillow and stays there for the whole night, but not on your skin. I think it makes skin a bit whiter, cause of the colour of the cream, may be useful for someone, but dont wait for a great effect in this direction. So yeah at the end just makes medium-good hydration, dont even think to use it during the day, too heavy. The CeraVe Healing Ointment has even heavier effect and more noteble result on your skin, but is more expensive.
