This is not an everyday cream, though perhaps some might use it as one (too heavy for that in my opinion). Even though it is incredibly thick, this cream is not sticky or greasy, and is actually also designed to treat children and even babies. The website says you can use this for diaper rash, which had me briefly reconsidering why I put this on my face. This product most prominently features B5, shea butter, and madecassoside to soothe and restore healthy skin. Suitable for both irritated and sensitive skin, you can use this on both your face and your body. The formula allows skin to breathe while still protecting it from the elements. This is a perfect cream for dry patches, and almost reminds me of that product “Working Hands,” but perhaps this one has more versatility. Not an everyday product for me, but great to have as an option.

I also use Retin-A and I thought this would be a great addition on my recovery days from retinol. But the formulation is so thick that it’s actually difficult to spread on skin at room temperature. I have to heat it up in my hands first, and even then it’s difficult. I’m not sure why because the Lipikar cream contains similar ingredients (like the shea butter) and it’s much easier to spread. This also leaves a heavier white cast than the Lipikar, I find. They both have titanium dioxide, so be aware that this works best as a night time cream or under makeup. It leaves a purpley-white tint on my skin. With my other lotion, I had to use one pump which was roughly 3 times the amount of the 1-2 pea sized drops I use now, and I used a large quantity of this lotion my first time trying it (which using the lotion led me to looking like Casper the ghost). It doesn't take a lot for it to be effective.For the balling up issue or not being able to work:If you have dry flaky skin present on the surface, the lotion will not stick as it is clumping with your dead skin. Simply taking a shower or washing your face (exfoliate the dead skin), patting it dry with a towel, then applying the lotion soon after allows the lotion to work effectively.For those concerned about breaking out while using this:I have not had any issues regarding the lotion. I know in some cases, acne will appear on its own and the lotion will commonly be blamed. This may also vary from person to person, I am not a dermatologist but an engineering student.In my opinion for costs, I would say this is fairly priced. You don't need large quantities for it to work, thus a small tube of this will last you a long time. It may seem pricy compared to other lotions you can purchase, but trust me, it's worth it.My only complaint is wishing that it was in a larger tube as I keep losing it in my bag (it would fall out of the inside pocket I keep it in and fall into some nook at the bottom of my bag), but I have been using this for roughly 3-4 months daily and still have plenty to use. Once I run out, I will definitely be buying a new bottle immediately.

I only used this less than 4x and I broke out really badly in a small cluster of cystic acne on my chin. I have never dealt with pimples as Deere and inflamed on my chin as I have in the past 6 days! So please please be careful. This can easily break you out if don't do a test patch prior to using it on your whole face! Be careful girls, take this as an older sister advice.
