Best value ever

So many of these micellar waters are expensive. I've tried some and, yes, they might have some wonderful ingredients in them. but this refreshes my skin, removes any make-up, (I don't wear much), and readies my skin for moisterizer. I sometimes use just this in the morning to clean my skin. It's a great product and my wallet has thanked me. My skin is ultra sensitive and La Roche-Posay products have never produced negative effects.

Good cleanser, but frangrance!!

This product does get rid of the makeup and cleanses the skin. However, in the ingredients, it lists fragrance. Fragrance is a broad term that could include toxic chemicals. There have been responses that it is a “mild scent”. If so, then please tell us what ingredients are in this fragrance instead of keeping it a secret because that is worry some if there are harmful chemicals in this product. It has been two years and people have been commenting about the fragrance, yet they have not done anything about it!

Great, but one problem...

I’ve been using this Micellar water for a year or so now. Prior to this I used the one from Simple, which I loved until they changed their formula. This toner is great for sensitive skin, which I have. This does not break me out or cause any hives or rash. My skin feels clean but not stripped after using. Unfortunately, I cannot give this a 5 star though. If you get any of this Micellar water in your eyes it burns so bad, even if only the smallest amount. I tend to always have to rinse my eyes immediately after removing any eye makeup of mascara. It recently irritates my eyes so bad that even just blinking them was painful… even after rinsing with water. Other than that, it’s a great way to remove your make up. Not a fan

Strong fragrance, harsh on sensitive skin. I usually use a micellar water before a cleanser to take off makeup. I was out of the one I regularly use and decided to try this. Well, that was a mistake. It was super harsh and I felt like it was stripping the oil from my skin. My face was as red as a tomato after. Would not recommend and won't be repurchasing. Giving it two stars because I like other products from this line and hope it gets improved. Also hope my review doesn't get taken down since I gave it a low rating.

Please make it fragrance-free

I bought this with the intention of using it as an eye makeup remover. I liked it so much that I ended up using it as a full face makeup remover. Also, sometimes I used it as a face cleaner even if I hadn't applied any makeup that day. My skin didn't have any adverse reaction to the water and it efficiently removed all types of makeup, lotions and dirt. I want a fragrance-free version of this product; that's the only reason I don't rate it with five stars. This is just a personal preference of mine, the scent it has was not offensive nor it lingered a long time. I have tried several other brands of micellar waters (around 5 or 6) and this one is my number one choice.

The best micellar water!

I have rosacea so my skin is very sensitive and reactive. This was recommended to me by my pharmacist in France. I was hesitant to use it at first just because other micellar waters didn't work for me, but I'm so glad I did. I either use it on its own or as the first step of a double cleanse on days that I wear extra sunscreen and/or tinted moisturizer. When I use it on its own, I usually spritz my face with thermal water and pat dry, or give it a light rinse from the faucet. But I know people who don't rinse it off at all. Do whatever works best fo your skin type. In any case, it's amazing stuff. It cleans well and feels wonderful!

My skin is oily, sensitive, and acne-prone. I have many closed comedones and do get cysts from time to time especially along my jawline. The jawline area tends to get super dry easily (peeling, flaking) if I overdo a product or use a product that's too strong. I've tried several micellar waters for my skin and it's always a longer process to get my long-wear foundation off. This product is definitely more efficient and really pulls the makeup out of your skin without irritating or over-drying. I cannot speak for the mascara removal as I only use one product to remove my mascara due to extremely sensitive eyes, so I have not even tried to use this on my eyes in fear of them getting irritated. Works like a charm without reddness or breakouts

Definitely does the trick, obviously if you put too much on a pad to rub your eyes it’s going to burn. All you need is about 5 drops, it’s been taking off all my makeup (I don’t really wear that much, Benefit mascara, tarte shape tape concealer and bare minerals wear powder). However depending on your makeup, certain mascaras that are either waterproof or long lasting it may be harder to get off. At that point you should just use a cleanser to gently rub your eyes to cleanse. All in all for my needs with the makeup I use, I’ve been enjoying this product. My skin is usually sensitive to new products and I haven’t had any breakouts or irritation since using this product for the last month.

Would not purchase again

I do not like the very perfumed scent. It's not great at removing heavy or waterproof makeup. I also find the dispenser hole at the top also to be annoying - it always spills out more product than I intend. I guess that's ok since it will help me blow through this product quicker and I can just be done with it. Lots of waste though.Thought I might like it the same as, if not more than the trusty Bioderma Sensibio micellar water because I do use & love a few other products by this brand. But this micellar water is a miss.
