Having sensitive skin you are always on the look out for products that don't aggravate or irritate your skin. I've tried many face creams until my daughter recommended La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Fluide, she swore by It that It really helped her sensitive skin. I had nothing to lose and more to gain. My first impression was the easy to use pump bottle, the texture of the cream and the lightness and how easy it absorbs into your skin and It has worked!!La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Fluide

I was looking for a new moisturizer for a comby sensitive skin since I moved to another country where all my face care just stopped working due to different climate (more humid) and skin becoming more oily. Chose this one based on reviews and it's a good fit for now. Leaves my face moisturized and not oily (except for maybe nose sometimes if i wear no primer or foundation/powder on top of it). It's sometimes a bit difficult to have the amount I want despite trying to adjust how hard I press, but that's a minor flaw. Have used this for about 3 weeks now and can see it's doing the job. Bought with discount so also happy with the price, might seem a bit pricey without a discount.

This moisturizer is great almost all skin types! It's oil free, so it works great for oily skin that still needs hydration, and it's also fungal acne safe. I have combination skin that can be dryer in the cold months. In that case, I use this first, then a more occlusive moisturizer over top of this one at night. It also calms redness on your face and is great if you suffer from Rosacea. Keep in mind all skin is different, but this one has a very short list of ingredients so less of a chance to cause irritation. Definitely recommend!

As with all skincare though, it's very personal and so it may just be the case that under my eyes is incredibly sensitive and not necessarily the fault of the product. I tend to use a thicker moisturiser for my under eye in any case.Overall, I'd recommend for anyone with sensitive and normal to combination skin that is looking for a lightweight yet effective moisturiser.
It sinks in and is not too oily. Ive used it for years, living in france and now in canada.People are saying the old formula is better so theyre using avene. That one doesnt have probiotics or niacinamide... people dont do their research.So its good for the good bacterias on the skin. If probiotics are good for your gut.. your skin is an organ too(biggest one)So anyways it's sitting under make up good enough and I feel like its better than the slim selection of non comedogenic products at sephora.In short, this is a pretty smart choice in my experience
I stopped buying this when the formula changed, but finally decided to give the new one a try. I miss the old one SOO much and am kicking myself for not stocking up on it when I could - can't find anything comparable.I do not like the texture of the new one at all and find that it makes my skin feel oily but somehow still dry, even bumpy (clogged pores?). The squalene was the best ingredient in the original formula, and the short ingredient list was amazing. Don't see myself repurchasing this ever.

I've been using this since I swapped all my products to fungal acne safe using the Simple Skincare Science list. I love this lotion! It's very light, and my skin has improved greatly between this, face wash, and swapping my shampoo and conditioner. I will say, I go through it very quickly. Since it's so light it feels like I need to use more sometimes. I'm still looking around for something slightly heavier for the drier patches of skin.

Its also the first moisturiser that doesn’t give me closed comedones which I frequently get with other ones! I also have roseacea and this has never made it worse (only topical treatments will fix it but it will not cause any flare ups). It’s very light so works well for most of the year. It has a great short ingredient and has absolutely no alcohol or fragrance or essential oils in it. I may also add that if you suffer with fungal acne this is also fine for your skin as it is Malassezia safe. The bottle is quite small (40ml) but I find a little goes a long way and one bottle will last me around 1 and a half months before I repurchase. It is quite expensive (definitely worth it) but escentual usually has it on sale for a good price! Overall I keep stocking up on it as it’s the only moisturiser that works- although that obviously is subjective as everyone has different skin. Anyway I would definitely recommend people to try it if they haven’t found a good trustworthy simple but effective moisturiser yet!
