Lacoste L.12.12 Classic Polo - Black

These remain a classic and I love them, however, the best polo out there is made by Uniqlo, and costs £19.95! I appreciate they don't have Lacoste's brand heritage and cachet, but their polo is better made and is a slightly heavier weight pique fabric. They wash better and retain their shape better, plus the collar sits better and doesn't curl. I would urge Lacoste to improve the quality of their shirts. They should be the absolute pinnacle of polo shirt manufacture, and for £85 or so you should expect that. thanks Jim

DYNAMITE POLO SHIRT!!!

What an awesome, iconic polo shirt! I love the fit and I love the weight! It looks fantastic on me! I will purchasing the matching hat to it, down the road, "PERHAPS", today, who knows?! ..... I have zero complaints! I would recommend this shirt to anyone out there in cyberspace, reading my review! You'll love it! I purchased it to work in, to give me that "BUSINESS CASUAL", look! Great quality t-shirt

I purchased numerous times from Lacoste and all I can say is that all their products are made of top-notch quality, not only they fit nicely and very compy but the fabric's truly superb as well. The packaging was also fantastic. I really love Lacoste products, one of a kind. Highly recommended.

I expected better from Myer and Lacoste.

Purchased online two apparent brand name polo shirts, Lacoste classic fit, XL size. They were advertised as reduced from $120 down to $70 and being a pensioner I thought that would be an opportunity to have a couple of classy polo's to go out. Now I know why they were discounted.The quality of the material and overall make is very average and my wife is disgusted with the way they wash. I made the mistake of not sending them back, probably because I was annoyed that I had made a mistake. I will never buy clothes online again.

Organic Cotton so comfy on Body

The look and feel of this polo made of organic cotton is absolutely outstanding. Made in France and some nice improvements on the classic L1212 polo.I much nicer woven collar and nicer buttons also.I premium high quality polo, where you notice the difference just by touching the material, far thicker and compact weave.I wish they would make them I. Other colors than just the 3 . I have them all . There's also a really nice blue available in Europe ... hope they will e bringing that colour to Australia soon also .Definitely worth the additional $ !

Perennial Classic Always Stylish !

As has consistently been the case my new Lacoste polo did not disappoint. It is truly a classic fit and appearance that never goes out of fashion and maintains its cool both all day and for evening casual as well.Also so easy to pack, and great for travel !I just keep adding more new polos to my wardrobe each year when Lacoste adds fresh new colors to the collection that catch my eye and expand my matchups.A perennial fun favorite I always enjoy wearing!

Perfect polo for everyday.

Perfect polo for any occasion. Fits true to size. Have alot of colours to choose from. Though washing (with this light colour option) could be a bit of a challenge, since the fabric is a bit sensitive from getting stained by other heavy coloured shirts.

Product Review

If I could have given this shirt a zero, I would have. I bought this for my husband to wear for a Razorback football game. He tried it on before I washed it, and it fit perfectly. I washed it according to the care label. He went to put it on the next day before the game, and it looked like he was wearing a crop top versus a normal men's polo shirt. We were very disappointed especially since the shirt after tax was around $100. He never even got to wear it once! It was a complete waste of my money!

The Sizes are completely different

I normally buy a large in t-shirts as I have a 41-42 inch chest.I remember that large in Lacoste can be too large, so I ordered a medium.The t-shirt is labled as a US Medium though, so even this is too big. I'm not a small in any t-shirt or polo shirt.I wouldn't even try to order this online given that the sizes are miles out.The quality of the Polo isn't quite as good as Lacoste used to be, but it's ok or would be if it fit.

Watch out for sizing differences

I ordered the same style item in 2 colours. Tried the first one on and it fitted well. Unfortunately the second shirt is much bigger. Contacted Lacoste and sent through photos showing the difference in size, but the only response I had was that sometimes sizes differ. No offer of exchange for another item when I asked about it. Would not recommend buying these online
