I received the Lady Jayne aria wave air style which is a straightener and curler in one. It has a clamp on the side of the product which you can use when creating beautiful curls and waves. It contains ceramic plates and the tool heats up fairly quickly 5 temperature settings to choose from based on your hair type. What I liked about the product was that I actually didn't even really need to clamp down on my hair with the tool. I normally do it out of habit but with this the straightener would clamp down well enough onto a section of my hair without having to put any additional pressure on it. Basically I could do it with one hand if I wanted to. It glides through easily, it didn't pull or tug at my hair and when straightening my hair it was shiny, evenly ... MoreI received the Lady Jayne aria wave air style which is a straightener and curler in one. I can’t say that I am a pro when it comes to my hair, and I constantly feel jealous of the luscious twists and curls I see achieved by so many of my friends and colleagues. That said I am always keen to try anything which might help me reach these goals and so I was super excited to try this product. The key for me is that is has to be practical, easy to use and effective.I really like the slim lined, slick design which makes this product easy to store and easy to pop into an overnight bag if you’re going away just for a night or two and still want your hair looking and feeling its best. The overall look and feel of the product is really sturdy and premium. With both a straightening and curling function, I decided to use this product to create some soft nice ... MoreI can’t say that I am a pro when it comes to my hair, and I constantly feel jealous of the luscious twists and curls I see achieved by so many of my friends and colleagues. The trick was to take small strands of hair and to be careful not to take too much of a clump to get the job done quicker. There are quite a few temperature settings which you can adjust the styler to, but with my fine hair I tend to not go above the 180 mark as find it too taxing on my hair and I tend to err on the side of caution. That said that temp worked well for my hair, and I didn’t really feel like I needed the additional heat. With thicker hair I imagine you might need a slightly increased temp. I was really impressed how easy the product was to use and how effective it was in giving me the style that I was looking to achieve. It worked really well to smooth out those stubborn frizzy bits and held the style throughout the day.Super impressed with this product and would highly recommend.

What a sexy little styling appliance! Love how it's so well made, feels so comfortable and light in your hands. It's so slick, smooth, and well designed, with nice finishing touches like the rose gold ceramic plates. The swivel cord is good too! It also comes with a compact velvet bag to hold and protect the tool.It has 5 temperature settings and heats up to 220 degrees! Cool air blows out, to cool down the appliance/hair and lock in curls, however, I am yet to really notice much difference with the hair (air vs no air). It is nice to have as a cooling mechanism. The appliance heats up quickly and is quite easy to use. Straightening and curling hair was easy and smooth. The clamp is easy to open and close, and closes firm enough to hold onto the hair (I used 3cm of hair as suggested). We have stubborn Asian hair in this house hold and this worked like magic, for both straightening and curling. We did spritz our hair a little with some water for curling and hair sprayed it after to make it last longer. No need for any hairspray with straightening.

I will admit, it took me a while to get used to the Aria Wave Air Styler. It's kind of a hybrid tong/plate/air heat tool, and I really struggled to get my head around to begin with, but once I got it, i really grew to love it.I have long, thick, straight hair, that it is extremely difficult to get shape/curl into, but this worked wonders for my hair, and it's all down to the my favourite part - the in-built fan. Turning this on means you can simultaneously create and set curls, so once I'd done a section, it was already cooled before the weight of my hair had time to drop it out. No having to set with rollers or clips, and no lost volume or curls - it's really brilliant.I have been using it to create big, lush, blow-out style hair, as well as to refresh ... MoreI will admit, it took me a while to get used to the Aria Wave Air Styler. No having to set with rollers or clips, and no lost volume or curls - it's really brilliant.I have been using it to create big, lush, blow-out style hair, as well as to refresh downstyles or to quickly put curls or volume into curtain bangs and face framing sections of updos. It's easy to use, and the design works better than straightener curls - since the Air Styler clamps the hair in place, I was able to focus on the angle and glide of each section, rather than holding plates together with a traditional straightener. And no hand cramps, Win win.I would absolutely purchase again, and wouldn't hesitated to buy as a gift for family and friends.
Love this innovative new product from Lady Jayne for hair styling. The air styler gives you freedom to straighten and curl hair with one product even with an inbuilt fan setting to cool hair creating effortless styling. I enjoyed the variety of heat settings and how quickly the product heated up compared to other straighteners I have used. Personally I am not the best at curling but this product made the process less scary and gave me ease of use, definitely motivated me to give some more curling practice. The product came with a beautiful velvet bag to keep everything together and protected which was a lovely surprise. The Lady Jayne Aria Wave Air Styler is fantastic for straightening and curling my hair. It would be up there in line of top air stylers and competitive with popular brands. I found my ideal temperature on my thick frizzy hair is about 160-180 degrees. It goes up to 220 degrees. It heats up fast. I would of liked to have a beep sound when it heated up to my selected temperature though. The handling design of this air styler was comfortable to hold and is easy to manoeuvre from top of hair roots for straightening down hair without snags. The plate clamp holds hair so well when straightening as well as when creating the curls. The cord swivels also and I didn't get caught up when moving it around my head. The air flow was interesting as I have never had a styler with this technology. It provides a cool airflow which I think helped lock in my curls but I didn't use it much and my curls still stayed in place well. It has tamed my frizz and wavy hair so well. Its probably my daily favourite hair tool now! I highly recommend this air styler.
I absolutely love this hair straightener! I have naturally thin and wavy hair, so I struggle with straighteners as it can take forever to get my hair straight (i have a lot of hair). Since this styler gets hot very quickly and maintains its heat it was a lot easier to use.I like how you dont have to hold the plates together when you use it, as its natural state in closed and u have to press to open it. I found this to be a lot easier on my hands as I didnt have to hold it closed all the time. It is also very light which further helped. When I first started using this I was really confused about the purpose of the air blowing out of it. After some research I found out it was to help dissipate heat and reduce damage. I can’t really tell if it worked as I probably havent used it enough to notice damage regardless, but I can understand the concept. It also would randomly turn off after around 30 mins of being on. Im not sure if its a self-timer to turn off or it is glitching? But it was quite annoying as Id often be halfway through a strand and it would disrupt the flow of the process. That is the reason it lost a point.
I style my hair daily and I have always wanted to find a good styler which implements the new hot air technology within the styler. Lady Jayne ARIA Air Styler contains the latest hot air technology where hot hair is released through tiny air vents for better temperature control while you style your hair. The styler is designed with ceramic plates which smoothes any frizz during the straightening process and gives a glossy smooth salon style finish. My hair looked silky smooth and glossy after straightening. I also noticed that, unlike other straighteners, the hot air technology actually gave my hair more volume after straightening! The Lady Jayne® ARIA WAVE™ Air Styler is a nice black and metallic rose coloured hair styler which can be used to achieve smooth straight hair or soft curls. It comes with a nice black velvet pouch which can be used to store the styling tool. The ceramic plates can be set to any of the five temperatures from 140°C to 220°C. You press and hold the power button to turn on the styling tool, and click on the button again to toggle between the temperatures. I found the light indicator for the temperature settings to be a little hard to notice. The hair styling tool is connected by a 360° swivel cord, which makes it far more easier to use why styling. The clamp is more similarly structure to curlers, where you press on the thumb grip to open the clamps, than clamping straighteners. I prefer the tongs like clamping mechanism as I find it more sturdy in clamping my hair. The ARIA WAVE Air Styler was easy enough to use and straighten my elbow length hair, though took me a bit longer to complete compared to other brands. The Precision air vents were useful when I was trying to curl my hair. I was able to create nice waves, though would sometimes get my hair caught in the insides of the clamps and I did get some frizz. I found waves were much easier to create than curls, but these could be a user error. I like the versatility in the product, relative ease of use, swivel cord and new air vent feature. But this is not my favourite hair styling tool.
I’ve really enjoyed this trial, this styler is a multitasking product that can straighten or curl and has actually worked quite well in my fine and rather short, straight hair. I recently did a trial of a similar product that really was no good for fine here as it didn’t grip tight enough and my hair just kept sliding out but this slightly smaller tool has a good grip so I can straighten quite easily and then I can hold the ends of my hair with the straightener and then curl up the device to add some curl. With my short hair, I’ve been using it to add some texture and add flicks at the end and it’s worked really well. I really like the fact that there are different temperature settings so again with my fine hair I can use a lower temperature and not fry it. There is an air blowing option which blows the hot air out into the hair as you are curling and while it’s not something I’ve really used with my short hair I think it would definitely help when curling longer hair. I like the size of the styler as it’s not too big so it’s easy to hold onto and easy to manage while styling your own hair, sometimes stylers can just be too big and bulky and awkward and you can end up burning yourself while trying to manoeuvre them. I also like the aesthetic with its rose gold and black colour scheme, it looks classy but cute. Overall I’ve been quite impressed with this styler and think that if I had slightly longer hair I would find myself using it far more than I already do.
