Tasting a great Islay Malt lifted my mood so much during lockdown. The peaty taste and smooth aftertaste took me right back to holidays in the Scottish islands.
Fantastic beverage. Smokey but not overpowering. Great smoothness to be ***** neat or with drops of water. Prefer it chilled.
Nosing - Bold, peaty, smell of the sea...Hints of chocolate, slightly sweet from the PX Cask. Peatiness more balanced unlike the 8 or 16 year old.
Just when you thought Lagavulin couldn't get better. We're picky connoisseurs with our whisky. This one will hit a new spot if you're a fan of Lagavulin.
