These cartridges are included with the Safari fountain pens. Did comparisons with other inks I have, Parker cartridges & blue bottled, Rotring black bottled. The Lamy blue is lighter, the blue-black would likely be more to my liking.One very surprising characteristic, is that this ink does not bleed through the cheap tablet paper I use! The other inks bleed excessively, making two sided writing impossible. This ink is better in that respect than any, and in fact, better than most gel pens (which leave traces on the back side). Really surprising!It does dry slowly, an issue for me (leftie), so to prevent smearing, the writing position needs to be adjusted. I love my Lamy Blue ink cartridges! The blue is rich and vibrant, the cartridges are easy to transport and store, and I especially appreciate the quick drying time of the ink. I am left-handed, so it is important for me to use an ink that does not stay wet on the page after I write a word. With Lamy Blue, I never have smeared letters or words. Thanks, Lamy!

I got pens from Goulet Pens as Christmas presents for me and the wife. I just ordered a set of refills. We grew up at the time where writing was a joy. Nowadays kids can't even read an analog clock, and they certainly can't read cursive text. We have gotten back in writing more (in cursive of course), less computers. You know back in simpler times. It will always be my primary source for fountain pens and supplies (I just wish you also carried Faber-Castellated products, then I could purchase ALL of my fountain pen needs from you). I also have fallen in love with LAMY products. I purchased my first LAMY pen from Goulet a few weeks ago and have added several more since then. The pens and the ink work phenomenally for me!
I'm not a cartridge fan, preferring to use a converter. However, I'm soon to travel and wanted to take along my Lamy Dialog CC and insure I have plenty of ink for letter and postcard writing at multiple locations. I ordered a box of Lamy cartridges knowing I could pop one out and dispose of it before boarding another flight. Note: I found that simply trying to force the converter onto the feed's end as Brian demonstrates in the video accompanying the cartridges didn't seem to get the job done at least insofar as the Dialog CC is concerned. I tried it three times, practically bending the cartridge as I applied pressure. Nada. Then, on the fourth try with just the smallest clockwise twist plus pressure, pop, it was on there with the ink flowing to the nib within ... MoreI'm not a cartridge fan, preferring to use a converter. I ordered the ink for my recently purchased Lamy pen, largely because of the positive comments I found among my colleagues in the pen collecting group on line. Ever so glad I did. The colors are vibrant and delightful. It writes smoothly on a variety of papers, and dries well.
Bought 3 different colours. Only used the purple so far. I thought the colour would have a more vibrant purple like the coloured dot on the packaging. Slightly disappointed in that colour only but for everything else I am very happy. Delivery was speedy.
I wish You had a PO box address so I could write you a letter in cursive with my brand new fountain pen! I wrote 30 pages in my journal of absolute nonsense just so I could scribble with the pen, it was so soothing. It's now one of my favorite things to do. I show it to every one and encourage them to try it. Thank you verily much :D So I had an old Lamy pen without refills, went to a shop and bought refills on a whim. turns out those cartridges were for another pen. So I had to buy Lamy refills as well as the other pen, so now I have 6 cartridges for 2 pens! I have sent like 10 postcards already! Thanks again!
