Lamy M16 M Ballpoint Pen Refill - Black

I really enjoy using my Lamy ballpoint pens and although the ink isn't the brightest, I enjoy how they write. The BEST thing about the ink is that I can write on the back of my holiday photo cards from Costco and the ink dries super fast without smudging at all.

I like the Lamy pen and have used one for many, many years. The issue is at $10 a refill it’s almost like the printer cartridge v printer debate, where it’s actually almost the same price to throw everything in the bin and buy fresh each time.Nice pen, good quality and weight, however not washing machine proof (my fault, not the pens).Thank you

These still suck. Compared solely to other standard ballpoint pen refills, the M16 isn't too offensive. However, in a world where we have Jetstream, Surari, and other outstanding low-viscosity inks the M16 formulation it woefully underwhelming. In fact, for the price the performance is downright offensive. Please, Lamy, get with the times and improve the ink formulation.

Excellent quality, as expected, from the good folks at Lamy. In an emergency, you can even use the refill by itself. I like how it looks like something reverse-engineered from alien technology recovered outside Roswell in 1947.

Ink Runs Out Too Fast

I'm a college student and I use pens a lot. The M16 is overall a very nice pen but the ink refills run out way too fast. Took me around a week and a half for it to run out.

Refill for a great pen

While looking for a new pen some time ago I noticed this brightly colored pen that looked a bit on the 'cheap' side. I had never heard of the brand Lamy. I decided to give the pen a try. Much to my delight I found the Lamy pen just wonderful. It was great to write with. Every one who tried the pen after seeing it was just as impressed. I have since bought a second one, just in case my main one goes temporally missing, as good pens do. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out just how long the cartridge lasts but all good things must come to an end and I needed a new refill. Hence without hesitation I purchased a Lamy refill. The pens may look 'cheap' but they are in fact extremely ruggered. I thoroughly recommend this product.

Refill ran out within a week

Used for a moderate amount of writing on a daily basis. Refill ran out of ink within less than a week. Disappointing as the pen itself is nice to write with. Would not recommend.
