Very disappointed. It doesn't feel like my LAMY fountain pens at all. It is very light weight and I am not sure about the balance. Mostly, I am bothered by the seams you can feel in the body that make it feel like a cheap plastic pencil. (And, at $16+ I don't consider that a cheap pencil!)

A solid mechanical pencil of sturdy construction, but not good to carry in a pocket. The eraser cap comes off easily and can be lost. Recommend putting it in a case to avoid having to walk around work for 10 minutes retracing your steps to find it.

I was concerned about the grip as I had seen some negative comments about it, but it feels comfortable enough in my hand.I have pretty big hands and these suit me quite well. Mind you, the entire barrel is plastic so you shouldn't expect a superior grip comfort, just be reasonable.The colour looked the same as displayed in the picture and I'm overall satisfied with the product.

Nice mAterial. Writing stroke seem heavy. Dispenser lead is smaller than regular pencil. Lead come out shread alot of black dust. Overall. Not worthy the money

Another great Lamy product! After being a long time user of their fountain pens, the mechanical pencil is a wonderful addition to my writing lineup. The only small thing so far is that I remain not entirely convinced about the 'tri' sided grip - I wonder if round or two sided like the pens may have been more comfortable for writing over long periods. But overall, I'm very happy with a lovely product, and Milligram remains excellent for service and delivery.

So, I got the pencil home and left it on my desk for less than a minute, and my puppy had stolen it and eaten the eraser by the time I got back. I ordered a replacement eraser, which came, no worries, but I can't work out how to fit it.Mind, you, the eraser is ridiculously small;the only less than stellar thing about this pencil. The pencil's comfy to hold, good to use, and like all Lamy products, stylish and practical, but that teeny eraser (and the fact I can't fit the replacement) means it is only good, not great.

Safari Mechanical Pencil Red

Works well. I do keep it in a pocket and it is a little easy to unintentionally extend the tip and have it catch on the pocket lining. But otherwise is nice in the hand and very nicely made.
