Lancome Absolue Regenerating Brightening Soft Cream 60ml

I first received this as a sample from Sephora and after having used it, I immediately purchased a full-size from the Lancôme store. This cream is to die for! It melts onto your skin like a buttery silk. The fragrance is light and unobtrusive but absolutely enthralling and full of rose petals at the same time. I’m constantly sniffing it, wanting more. Luxury in a bottle - well worth the price tag. I feel amazing when I’m applying this, I wish I could bathe in it! It also delivers results. My skin is so soft and supple and my fine lines are definitely reducing. I have baby skin! The 2 oz is large enough that it will last a while, a little goes a long way. I also love that these jars are recyclable and refillable. Bravo all around, Lancôme!

Once prepped, I applied a fingertip worth of soft cream onto my skin, blending until completely smooth and absorbed. This cream applied like a blanket of rose scented velvet on my skin - effectively blurring fine lines and impurities while creating the perfect finishing touch to my skincare routine. Much like other Absolue products I’ve reviewed, the formula is enriched with such key ingredients as the aforementioned Grand Rose Extracts for a youthful glow, Shea Butter for nourishment, and Meadowfoam Seed Oil for barrier protection against water loss. There is also an ingredient called Pro-Xylane, which was developed from sugar and plays a key role in visibly smoothing fine lines and promoting skin firmness. My skin feels incredibly supple, soft, and pampered upon applying this cream. I followed it up with the Absolue Revitalizing Eye Cream for the full Absolue experience. This is floral skincare at its best - a luxury to be enjoyed!

So much for the sales pitch, now let's talk about the product, it's packaging, how it works and, last but not least, the results! 😉 The tester I received was packed in a cute and chic looking, gold tube, but from what I've seen online and in stores, the full size jar, made out of gorgeous looking gold colored mirror glass, also looks amazing! It oozes a certain class and maturity, thanks to the beautiful gold color and it makes a real asset for your vanity table or in your bathroom! Luxury at it's best! This cream has a wonderfully light yet creamy texture that melts into the skin in no time! The cream does not feel greasy or sticky and didn't irritate my skin at all. The cream is easy to apply, thanks to the enjoyable, light and melting texture. The Lacome Absolue Crème Fondante has a soft, delicate and feminine floral scent which is noticeable but not too strong, too heavy nor too present. It actually is a really enjoyable and subtle scent that didn't cause any irritations or headaches. After using the Lancome Absolue Crème Fondante, my skin feels soft, smooth, nourished and hydrated, which lasted all throughout the day. My sensitive combination skin looks radiant, healthy and firm and red spots seem to be slightly reduced. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the results after a longer use, since I only received a tester, obviously, but I can tell you that I have read a lot of good things about it and I absolutely loved it while testing! I absolutely love the Lancome Absolue Crème Fondante and I especially enjoy the light texture, the very enjoyable scent, the excellent results and the fact that this cream can be used as both a day cream and a night cream because it saves me the purchase of 2 different products, which obviously makes me save money. And that's a plus! 😉 The only con is it's price, since it's a really expensive product. Highy recommended!

I sincerely want to try this “Absolue Soft Cream”.Was excited to see this ‘free gift offer with purchase”, since I’m now on a ‘fixed income’ (after retiring).However, (& a Huuuuge However)…When Looking at “PRICES”, this Absolue Soft Cream - 1 Oz - has gone up drastically with Free Gift offer.So… don’t see a savings OR “Free Gift, at All.So sad & disappointed.Essentially, there’s No ‘Free Gift’. AMAZING PRODUCT

I tried Absolue BX line few years ago when purchased gift set with 4-5 products. I liked it but it didn't have sunscreen, so tried other Lancome products to address my skincare needs. Recently two things occurred. One of my favorite products was discontinued and my skin was going through another change. I received consultation through Elite Rewards program and several Absolue products were recommended.I was very pleased with both morning and evening products. The smell and texture are amazing, it's not thick or greasy. In combination with Renergie and Genifique, Absolue has given my skin more even texture and glow - within short period of time. Best product line I’ve ever used, changed my life

I am extremely fair and have extremely sensitive, dry skin with sun damage, and a few scaly, flaky spots that have to be burned off at the dermatologist every few years and may be pre-cancerous according to my doctor. No product has ever consistently helped to smooth and soothe my skin til the Absolue line. I received a sample last year with a purchase of Génifique serum - which I also love! - and within a week my skin was noticeably smoother and the flaky spots were not flaky anymore! Now a year later, and all spots on my face and neck are either completely gone or extremely diminished. I am a harsh critic of beauty products and I do not exaggerate when I say I have no idea why the Absolue system works for me like this! It’s amazing and for me, worth the expense.

I like it - works for me

For reference, I’m 42 years with combination skin. I live in Montana where it’s VERY dry. I received a tiny sample tube along with a gift with purchase which was enough for 4 uses (you should be only using a dime sized amount for your whole face. I love it, but I use it as my night cream. When used on its own (no serum underneath and no makeup over the top, my skin looks really nice right upon application and I wake up in the morning looking luminous and honestly slightly firmer (I just was my face with cold water - no cleanser prior to makeup). When I use serum under it, my face tends to look greasy and honestly it gives me an exhausted look and it seems like the shadows and liked on my face become pronounced. It’s weird. I would buy this cream even at the price point.

I really like Lancome Absolue Soft Cream Revitalizing & Brightening Moisturizer. The cream is packaged beautifully and I love the golden color choice of the packaging. I really like the texture of the cream, it's soft and creamy and feels luxurious smoothing on my face. The slight not overpowering scent is very pleasant as well. I have been using Absolue Soft Cream Revitalizing & Brightening Moisturizer for a little over 2 weeks now and I am very pleased with the results I see on my face. I have not typically seen results from other creams I have tried in the past so quickly. So from this stand point I will say that I feel like Absolue Soft Cream Revitalizing & Brightening Moisturizer is a top notch product. Not Worth The Money

Although I was blown away with Absolue soft cream when I tried it as a sample in a gift with purchase (the sample lasted me 5 days) - I have not at all been impressed with the full size purchase. Perhaps I had a batch missing a key ingredient? Perhaps they make the samples in a higher quality to elicit the purchase of a lesser quality full size? I live in a very dry climate and Yes, it is still extremely hydrating. Yet, with the sample size product I’d wake up in the morning to lifted, smooth and brighter skin that made me say “wow, this is shockingly amazing.” With the full size product, my skin has been more red and less even looking, I had a couple breakouts and honestly it’s looking less lifted than before I started using it. I suspect Lancôme is going to respond to this review by saying something like “we’re so sorry the product didn’t meet your expectations. We formulate all of our products to do xyz etc etc.” who cares about a written apology? That literally doesn’t count for anything or mean anything. All of these rave reviews for this face cream are very confusing to me.

Yes, I know it's pricey. And yes, it's not a very big jar. But you won't be sorry with this purchase. Think of it as an investment in your skin. Best for dry skin but should be fine for normal skin as well. If you want to use Absolue and you have combo or oily skin, address those concerns with your wash and toner. Then Absolue may be ok for you too. As a former advisor for Lancome for 7 years, Absolue was always Lancome's top of the line. In recent years there have been some changes to the formula but I can only see positives so far. The price is a little lower now but so is the amount given. My skin went from dry red patches on my cheeks to soft, glowing, supple skin in less than 1 month. I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin; especially when it comes to fragrance in products. But Lancome's signature scent has not only been nostalgic for me but calming and luxurious as well. I have experienced zero issues. I also use Mousse Confort, Clarifique Essence, and Absolue Eye as my entire skin care regimen. If you are in your 40s or older and you've noticed significant changes in your skin, this is the moisturizer for you.
