Lancome Galateis Douceur 400ml

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I have always loved the fast service of Beauty Affairs with free samples with my orders. Last month my shampoo bottle broke in the post and leaked everywhere. When I advised Beauty Affairs they sent a new bottle straight away free of charge. Unfortunately this order did not arrive so when I advised them of this Anna at Client Care sent me a new bottle straight away but along with this she also sent me the matching conditioner, and my favourite full cleanser to say sorry. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time. I’ve always had amazing service from Beauty Affairs and will not buy my beauty products anywhere else

The make up remover comes in a tall white bottle with a pump-style dispenser and a lid. Like all Lancome products, the packaging is beautiful and elegant. I first tried this when I received a sample with a gift with purchase. From memory, it was 50ml and lasted a long time because a little bit goes a long way. I still can't put my finger on the scent but it's a lovely floral scent. It's faint but enough to be noticeable. I generally remove my eye make up first because it's usually the hardest to remove. This formula is gentle enough around the eyes and even removes waterproof mascara. \n\nAfter removing all my make up, my skin feels smooth and refreshed. However, I will still use a gentle face wash after and continue with my skincare routine as per usual.\n\nI'd recommend this to those who wear make up everyday or those who just wear it on special occasions. It's great since it doubles up as an eye make up remover so if you're traveling, you only need to bring this instead of two products!\n

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

I have found my holy grail! My thin, bleached, dry hair, was left feeling so hydrated, silky and shiny. Usually moisturizing shampoo and conditioners weigh my hair down but this is the first range I have found that has left my hair looking so healthy, moisturized and full of volume. My hair has never looked or felt healthier and contains no nasties or silicones. Love it, the best on the market!

But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! I just have to take a moment to give a shout-out to the team over Beauty Affairs and this awesome little (perhaps not so little :)) company. EVERY time I place an order, it's always perfect. Great deals and prices, great communication, super-fast delivery, great range of GENUINE products. I can't even tell you what their customer service is like because I've never had need of it before! Best facial cleanser I have ever used !!

I have been using this cleanser for over 30 years and have rarely strayed from it. It is simply the only cleanser I can use, with confidence all over my face including my eyes. Generally my skin is not overly sensitive but can become very “tight” if I have tried different cleansers. However my eye area does react really badly to all other attempts to use an eye area cleansers. So thank goodness for this wonderful product. Lastly, my husband who has eczema including break outs on his face especially eyes has only recently found that Galateis does not irritate his skin. I’m not recommending that other people with eczema should use it but it has helped him.

Effective but gentle facial cleanser

I absolutely love this product. It is very effective at removing make-up including eye make-up, although if I wear mascara I tend to use a specific cleanser. This is very gentle and feels so soothing. Does not leave any residue and doesn't dry out the skin. One of the Lancome associates help me choose this particular product for my slightly dry skin and get it absolutely right for me. I do sometimes try other cream cleansers but end up always going back to this. Feels like I'm taking good care of myself.

Great cleanser!

I have a lot of trouble with skincare products as my facial skin can end up with burns or painful rashes from a reaction to creams. When I was younger I could put anything on my skin but my mother always had trouble with her skin care. Once I hit my 30's I found I had the same problem. However thankfully this cleanser doesn't give me any problems and removes any make up residue after I've taken my eye make up off. I've used it for quite a long time now and find it very effective and gentle on my skin.
