Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm in strawberry is a great multipurpose balm that works in most applications but truly excels in a few. It is definitely more of a balm than an ointment, more soothing than medicinal. The strawberry absolutely leans more candy scented (versus something juicier), but it smells delicious. It is, like all Lanolips, super thick and therefore requires only a tiny bit for each use. It's a fantastic lip balm. Emollient, plush, non- sticky, Lanolips multi-balm is a very welcome addition for the winter months. It is a fantastic cuticle cream for the same reasons. It will soften cuticles to nothing in a few days but provides immediate relief, especially when covered with a bandaid. It will soften cuticles to nothing in a few days but provides immediate relief, especially when covered with a bandaid. It is nice enough as an ointment for dry heels and rough patches on elbows and knees, but isn't absorbed quickly enough for my tastes. Different strokes and all. Lanolips 101 Multi-Balm is an excellent choice for lips, a terrific choice for cuticles, and not bad in a pinch otherwise. I highly recommend it.

Let me first start off by saying I hate putting things on my lips and I struggle to find a balm or gloss that I can stand. I dislike the feelings of thick, greasy, sticky stuff on my lips and this in turn leaves me going unprotected and subject to chapped dry lips especially during the winter months. I do live in a milder climate but spend a great deal of time outdoors even in the cold so I tend to only treat the damage after it's already happened because I hate to suffer through the gross feeling of balms. I am happy to report this product is so much more tolerable than anything I've tried. And a little goes a long way! This will last you a while. There is still a slight lanolin smell but it doesn't bother me. I find it to be extremely nourishing without being thick or sticky. I will definitely repurchase!

This balm definitely exceeded my expectations. When I first received it, I thought it was going to more like a gloss given the packaging and scent. The description of the balm and the provided card didn't explain clearly what type of lip product it was either. I must've missed the "ointment" word lol. I've been dealing with a week of chapped lips and dry skin due to our weather changes here in my area of CA. This balm worked well! It's super thick and emollient. It reminds me of the DHC olive oil lip balm (which is my current go to and fav). Pros - t's thick, colorless (texture is like vaseline), and once it's on, it creates a nice barrier against the elements. Also doesn't taste bad. Cons - the applicator part isn't great.
