Love the color and lanolips overall!! They have the best lip ointments! Love the shade how it instantly moisturizes the lips! But the only thing I wouldn’t recommend is putting it on the cheeks I personally just didn’t like it on my cheeks because it feels like lipgloss on my face! But besides that great product! #giftedbylanolips

The colour mimics the effect of blood rushing to the lips and cheeks. I feel that it takes a little while for the colour to set in and then gives a natural,flushed look. Just a tiny amount is more than enough. Looks lovely on the cheeks too! If you are not familiar with Lanolips, these are quite heavy balms can be abit sticky. But, they are just amazing for dry/chapped lips and once you figure out the proper amount to use, it’s not that heavy. I’ve been bereft since Bite went out of business because their original lanolin based agave lip masque was the only product I’ve found that actually kept my lips soft and nourished. Well, I’m happy to say, I finally found a replacement that’s even better. This stuff is thick enough to stay put and has a beautiful color and shine. I’ve bought a bunch so I won’t run out for a long time. Thanks, Lanolips!!

I have been a Bite lip mask junkie for years. I was devastated when they changed the formula. Lanolips to the rescue! This is a fantastic night time lip mask. It stays on all night leaving your lips super hydrated in the morning. I don't love the color...I think there is too much pigment and it tends to gather in my lip lines. But I want it for a night mask so I don't care. next time I'll probably go with the untinted version. This is as close as I'll get to the original formulation of the Bite Agave Lip Mask.
I always wanted to try the classic rose gold one but opted to try this one instead cuz in the summer time my skin gets really dark really quick, so I felt the other one was going to match the copper undertones in my skin too much, I'm not a fan of your lips melting into the rest of the face look. Initially when I put this on I loved it, but I quickly realized it's cuz I put WAY too much on. Firstly, trying to get it off my finger was a nightmare, had to wash my hands multiple times just to get the stickiness off. Secondly, when I looked in the mirror that when I realized I put too much on cuz all that beautiful color was now pushed up to the rim of my lips and spreading onto my face, leaving a light wash of pink n LOTS of shimmer on the rest of my lips. The lip ointment is very thick and you do have to really squeeze the tube. It’s not something I would apply out and about, but having said that I don’t think I would need to. I applied the product with a brush to my lips, I then went out for a meal and drinks and still found my lips had the product on and felt lovely and smooth with a beautiful tint. Very pleased.
I really wanted to love this product - it looks so good in the picture. However it's actually really hard to get out of the tube, doesn't look much like the colour stated and is really sticky and messy. Once you get it on is definitely moisturising though and if you prefer a more orangey tone then this will suit you. For me though, not impressed.

I have used lanolips ointment on my lips before and the taste isn't super but this is a whole new level of yuck. I almost gave it 2 stars because it seems moisturising but this product has already been given reviews that are too generous. It's orange, too pigmented if you want to put anything more than a really thin layer of it on. And at least with the ointment they had a lip gloss applicator but this one you pretty much have to squeeze he tube onto your finger and then apply to your lips which is not convenient or sanitary.If you were thinking of getting this because you hate the new inefficient lanolin free vegan Bite formula for their lip ... I buy a 500$ supply of Lanolips products every year.I'll post my uses on all the products.101 ointment shimmer balm :Where do I start? Discovered these when I live in Australia for a year. Dabbed on lips these give a lovely flush to lips and the light shimmer is beautiful. I also dab on cheeks for a tonal look and the rose gold colour just look so natural and is easy to blend. The shimmer is also not over the top so it adds some highlight to cheeks at the same time.Bonus is that your skin and lips get moisturized too. So it’s more of a skincare.Not super goey either, leave a nice balm feel on lips and even after eating or drinking when the colour fade, you still feel like they have a slight protective barrier to them.
This balm has such a wonderful glowing color! Find that I like it even more as a dewy blush than as a lip color (though it works wonderful for both) . The texture is very creamy and blendable, you can eather build up the color or keep it subtle.The applicator isn't quite as neat as the 101 fruit balms, but that isn't much of an issue as I like to apply it with my fingertips!
