Lanolips Fruity Jellybalm Strawberry

As a person who gets zero help from normal kinds of “chapsticks”, this product completely amazed me! Never in my life have my lips felt softer or more moisturized! Not only that, but the packaging is adorable and the scent is perfect. I love everything about this and recommend it to anyone who struggles with dry cracked lips!

Calling all lip balm lickers!! This balm is the one for you! It’s incredibly goopy and thick which makes for a great occlusive layer. I emphasized that it’s great for those that have a tendency to lick off their lip balm because this is kinda sticky and has no taste so you’re more deterred from licking - that way, it actually stands a chance to do its work on your lips! Not only is it great for the lips, it works beautifully around my cuticles as well. I use it for heavy duty skin repairs and it has saved me several times from the harsh Canadian winters! Hear me out, have you ever lived somewhere really cold (or had a really bad flu) and your nostrils became chapped from the constant freezing temps or constant nose-blowing? This product completely heals and nourishes your dry chapped skin, and it relaxes you with the smell of fresh strawberries! A little goes a really long way so this tube has lasted me forever, but when it eventually runs out, I’ll be happy to buy another (or even try another one of the delicious fruity scents that Lano offers)! Other uses include: Apply it to dry cuticles/cracked heels/dry nasal passages. Melt it into your own moisturizer to supercharge it. Mix a tiny bit with your foundation for a natural, dewy look. Keep eyebrows in place. Apply to windburn/cold-chapped cheeks. Heal dry/brittle nails, paper cuts, insect bites. And many more!

Brilliant multi-tasker!

I bought this on a whim and am so glad I did. It's moisturising, non-irritating and leaves a faint stain. It looks a bit intimidating in the tube but is much subtler when worn. I've also been using it as a blush, as a little goes a long way and it dries down to a soft stain. The texture is a little tacky to begin with, but since I have dry skin it doesn't really bother me. I have been pleasantly surprised by this little gem - a great staple for winter.

I don't love it, I don't hate it either

It's just an OK product for me. The sheen is nice with a lovely hint of strawberry color. I like that this balm is not sticky. It does, however, have that plasticky "taste." Of course, I'm not eating it, but having it on my lips and actually "tasting" it, puts a major damper on my experience with this balm. I will use this tube of my Strawberry Jellybalm, but I will not repurchase it because there are too many products on the market that need to be tested and "tasted." ;-)

I loved this... until it broke

I could barely get many uses out of this product before the tube ultimately broke. There was a hole that formed along the seam that connects the base and the applicator part. The hole got bigger and bigger until it tore almost all the way around, and I couldn't effectively squeeze product out anymore without it spilling all over the place.The lip balm itself was good. The faulty packaging ruined it.

Love this for my everyday lip gloss!

The Fruity Jellybalm has such a smooth, hydrating feel to it. I do not like it when my lips feel sticky after putting on lip gloss. This makes it feel so soft, even after you have had it on a while. There is just a slight hint of a fabulous strawberry smell and taste, which I love. I don't want my gloss to taste fake and overpowering. I love this for my everyday lip gloss. It gives my lips just enough color and shine, but I still feel like I can wear it just around the house as well. I would give it 5 stars, and would say the hydration and smooth feel are what I am attracted to the most. I am a huge fan of everything Lanolips, and the Fruity Jellybalm did not disappoint!

Wish it was more pigmented

It's a very comfortable, moisturizing glossy balm. Honestly it feels and works exactly like a lip gloss. I wish it was more strongly pigmented, because I have to use a lot more of it than a regular balm in order to get as much color as in the promo pictures, and even then I can't get enough of it on to look red rather than pink. The price is fair for how much you get if you think of it as a gloss though.

I’m absolutely loving the Lanolips Fruity Jelly Balm! It's super hydrating and leaves your lips feeling soft and smooth all day long. The cherry scent is also a great bonus! I love that it's made with natural ingredients and that it's cruelty-free. It's definitely my new go-to lip balm!

not the best, not the worst

i’ve been using this lip balm on and off for 6 months or so and it’s just… meh. not super hydrating, not super restorative, just cute. keep in mind, it’s very cute. the colour is there, it smells good, it’s just not really too hydrating! otherwise it’s cute on a minimal makeup day :)
