I have an electric pump that can be plugged in or used with batteries. I was looking for something manual I can take with me on the go and decided to try this manual pump. I love it! Easy for me to take to my daughters softball games and pump when I need to. I love that it comes with a nipple so baby can take the bottle straight from the pumped milk. My other pump only came with bottle cap not nipples. If you’re looking for a manual pump this is a great option. Gets my milk out faster than the other pump.

I am obsessed with this pump, as a first time mom/breast feeding mom, I recommend this pump. Easy to use, and is great if you want to try to pump more than letdown. I’ve noticed that my milk supply has also increased! I’ve gotten most of my milk stash with this pump. I absolutely love this pump. The squeaking that I’ve read about with the pump, it started happening with me as well. But I realized it’s because my hand started pumping at an angle, if you want the squeaking to stop, make sure your hand is centered. When pumping for a long time it’s easy for your hand to move of center when it’s tired. Only downside: If something happens to your 25mm flange there are no replacements that I’ve found, not even on their website. So I haven’t pumped since, because I haven’t been able to find a replacement flange of the same size. I’ve been searching for weeks. And I’ve been wanting to try out their power pump, but the reviews are horrible… might have to buy a new pump or try a completely different hand pump :(

I absolutely love this hand pump!! Definitely opt for this over an electric pump if you are mostly or exclusively breastfeeding and you want the option to pump for a trip or a day out away from your baby, or just to have extra milk on hand. I might go so far as to say that you could rely on this even if you were doing pumping and breastfeeding (but I haven't used it for that, so I cannot say for sure). Definitely if you are on a budget and can't get one through insurance, this is a wonderful alternative to an expensive pump. This is all that you need and it so much cheaper!! I wish I had bought it earlier. The pump is very easy to use. My hand did not get tired and it was very effective at drawing out a lot of milk quickly. The "let down" feature does work, for those who are wondering. The instructions that came with it were clear and easy to follow. Assembly was not difficult. The only thing is that I didn't like that it has a lot of parts to clean after every use, so that can be time consuming, but I think all hand pumps are this way so that's really not this product's fault. It comes with a bottle, lid, nipple, and cap for bottle nipple. This makes it super easy to pump and store, either with the lid or with the nipple for easy feeding. You can also pump into breast milk freezer bags with this pump. I haven't tried that yet, so I can't speak to that. Overall a five star rating!! Definitely recommend. Save yourself some money and get this pump over an electric one if you are on a budget.

I have the double electric but I'm tired of buying batteries and im tired of sitting down to pump and connected to cords.I purchased another brand manual hand pump that made me cry the first day becsuse it broke and the handle kept flying off.I just assumed all manual pumps were made cheap, hurt your hand or are loud.My story is I have large breasts that hang low. I have low milk supply. Meaning my left hardly gets 10 ML per 30 minute electric pump.I had painful mastisis in my left breast and a belb that made me Scream when breastfeeding, pumping with an electric pump or using the other brand manual pump that worked for an hour.I got this one because the avent reviews said it squeaks and the medela was too pricey for me.I have carpal tunnel in my hands ... MoreI have the double electric but I'm tired of buying batteries and im tired of sitting down to pump and connected to cords.I purchased another brand manual hand pump that made me cry the first day becsuse it broke and the handle kept flying off.I just assumed all manual pumps were made cheap, hurt your hand or are loud.My story is I have large breasts that hang low. I basically pump on a huge angle or laying back on a lazy boy chair when breastfeeding and every angle is comfortable for my breast and my wrists. After my 2nd pump of the day my belb pain went away and my left breast pumped 40 ML for the first time ever !!!!I feel so relieved and happy I cried with joy!!It came with a stand which was nice so I didn't knock it over on my coffee table. The bottles and flange are compatible with my electric pump and it's so light weight!!I will never purchase another brand pump ever!! Their breast pads also work amazing with two adhesives on them so they stay in place ( vs. avent that never stay in place becsuse their isn't enough adhesive)And their heating/ cooling pads helped my Belb so much!!Thank you lansinoh for making an affordable, durable, stressful pump !!!!!

Good for travel and gets the job done
2 June 2023

Perfect pump for traveling that is simple yet effective and gets the job done. Much easier than bringing the electric pump on shorter trips. I love that after pumping the lids feel very secure and do not spill. I do also like the idea of being able to swap the top with a bottle nipple for ease of feeding, however, I had trouble getting it screwed on appropriately without leaking. This made feeding with the same bottle not as desirable, so I did take away a star for that. Definitely still recommend if you are looking for a travel pump that doesn’t take up a lot of space and is easy to use on the go. You can control the pressure/flow to meet your own comfort. I was able to express as much milk with this as I do my spectra blue pump, and in about the same amount of time.

I bought this to test and see how much I could get from a manual pump vs my electric pump. I thought it could be a decent solution if I was out and about and needed to pump for comfort. While it does have surprisingly good suction, the included flanges are wayyyy too large for most women. Because the flanges are so huge, it causes a lot of pain/discomfort and decreases the output. With my electric pump, I can get up to 260mL in 20-30 minutes. With the manual, I did 15 minutes per side and only got 90mL. I also found that my hands were constantly cramping up because the handle isn’t very comfortable to hold and operate. If this were offered with appropriately sized flanges, I’d say this was a good buy. Currently the only solution would be to get some silicone flange ... MoreI bought this to test and see how much I could get from a manual pump vs my electric pump. Not for me
10 September 2022

Waste of time and money. I’ve been seeing a lot of women successfully use hand pumps and claim to get more output in less time than their electric pump so I decided to give it a try. Plus I thought it would be convenient overall (mobile, less noise at night). Well I barely got anything out with this pump and I usually pump anywhere from 6oz to 12oz at a time and it’s tiring to use. Also the valves are terrible quality. Both of them tore before I could use them so I spent more money on replacements from another brand which turned out to be much sturdier but the hand pump just didn’t work for me.

Same as most of the other reviews. No suction what so ever. I read some good reviews so I decided to try. I tried this once and it just did nothing for me. No suction at all. I used my spectra s2 and pumped 7oz in ten minutes. I even prefer my hakkaa over this it has way more suction. And it’s cheaper with less pieces. The flanges on this are also very flimsy and cheap feeling. But I do love lansinoh bottles and it was the only one my exclusively breast fed baby would take when I tried about 8 brands so only reason I’m doing two stars over 1 is because it came with a bottle I get to still use lol.

The BEST pump, but especially for on the go..

Listen ladies, much like a lot of you, nourishing my baby with the best is SO important to me; but also like many of you, I had to go back to work not too long after having my babe, and was nervous about how I was going to keep up my supply while I was away. Well let me tell you I am SUPER grateful I had this pump in my corner. Here’s why:-For one, it’s easy to put together and has very uncomplicated parts.-The strength on it was very good, and helped me express tons of milk ( from both sides) even on my short 15 minute breaks.-It’s super easy to clean as you can rinse it directly after use, and just wipe it down, and it’s ready for the next session,-Doesn’t take up alot of space as it’s not bulky and the parts detach. So ladies definitely save yourself some money, and a headache, and invest in one of these it was a life saver in my busy schedule; I used to bring it with me to BOTH jobs as I had a daytime job, and part time night job, long road trips to express in the car while my baby was sleeping, and pretty much anywhere I had to be for long periods of time. I moved recently, and a small part got lost, so I’ll be needing another one, but I’ll definitely be a returning customer of Lasinoh and their awesome products!

Warning to all moms struggling with BF.
13 February 2023

Do not purchase. Pump is defective so I immediately reached out to Lansinoh and have yet to receive a response from the company. I’m struggling with pumping all day and was in need of a hand pump to make it easier to stay on track. I realized the rubber ring doesn’t stay sealed into the pump causing the suction to under perform barely able to pull with any force whatsoever. It’s literally not working at all for what is intended. Moms please take my advice and be cautious as you don’t want to ruin your supply due to this type of issue. I’m beside myself. Customer service is horrible- the least they can do is reach out with a solution instead of leaving a new mom hanging like this.
