The bottles that come with the pump hold a good amount of milk and it comes with a slow flow nipple so you can use that to feed your baby from one of the bottles if needed.I love that this pump is portable and lightweight so it makes it way easier to take with me when I go places and it's very quiet compared to other pumps I have used.The Lansinoh Baby app that you can use with this breast pump has an attractive interface and is user friendly. It allows you to track your pumping sessions but also allows you to track pretty much everything about yourself (pumping, water, breastfeeding time) and baby (growth, bottles, diapers). It would be great for new moms and I think it is very useful.I would definitely recommend this pump if you are looking for a lightweight and compact breast pump. The first thing I noticed when opening the box for the Lansinoh SmartPump 2.0 was that it came with a lot of extra (and helpful) accessories. I love that there was a carrying bag and a cooler bag so that the pump can be taken on the go and milk stored safely. Next, I noticed the extra duck bills and really appreciate a spare pair as these can wear out or rip during washing and cause the pump to not effectively work. There were two flange size options (25mm and 30mm), which seem to be the two most popular flange sizes. I do like that the flange has a rubber edge around the plastic for maximum comfort and stays in place well without slipping. The shape of the bottles has a nice contour for holding, and the flange piece is detachable in a way to easily set up into a hands-free pumping bra. The suction was comfortable, and I felt like it mimicked the pull of my infant very well. I was able to express milk effectively, and it was quiet so that my baby continued sleeping. (Note: my baby is almost 2 weeks old, and I pump after smaller feedings to empty breast, and I pump if my baby is sleeping, but my breasts feel too engorged to wait until awake).The app seems to be very helpful for tracking sessions and sending reminders, especially in the first few weeks with an infant who needs to eat every 2-3 hours. It beats constantly setting a 2-3 hour timer on my phone.My favorite feature is the flexibility of the pump being portable (plug into wall or use batteries for on the go).I want to thank the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breast pump to review.

It also has a baby tracking section to the app which helps keeps all valuable baby-related data in one place. On top of all of these benefits, my little one only uses Lansinoh bottles, so it is incredibly convenient to be able to pump directly into the bottles he takes. My only complaint is the available flange sizes. I typically have to purchase flanges that do not already come with the pump, but Lansinoh has a small selection of flange sizes to choose from making it difficult to get the correct size. I got the wonderful opportunity to try the lansinoh Smart pump 2.0 and let me tell you I was skeptical. I am a first time mom and this is the 3rd pump I’ve tried! The first being in the hospital which was amazing but then I had to go home and the other 2 pumps I tried compared to this just don’t even measure up! I am an over producer and even though my son primarily latches on majority of the time when he’s done eating I do not feel like I was “emptied” enough so I also pump to have some extra milk on hand and to have relief. This pump hand down makes having to pump and breast feed amazing! My spouse actually bought this for me because I was engorged really bad and my LO could not latch. This was probably the first 3days home, I’ve been using it ever since. Always comes through, output is pretty regular. I’ve had to up the setting after pumping for so long because my breast are use to a deep latch now that baby is bigger, so thank you for the 3 setting with multiple levels in each. Works well with batteries though I only get like 4 sessions out of battery powered pumping but still worth it compared to wireless. I have to use this pump to get whatever my wireless ones didn’t. When I received this product as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was super excited!When I first unboxed everything I was happy to learn it all fit in a double strapped shoulder bag that came with the pump, to include a cooler bag. The pump itself is so small and has a carrying handle so it is light and easy to maneuver. The two flanges that come with are sized 25mm and 30.5mm and I used the smaller of the two to test the pump. Everything was so user friendly to set up and it was basically plug and play! I downloaded the Lansinoh app and connected the pump to Bluetooth within seconds of trying. The app itself was super helpful to be able to track length of pumping sessions and how much you pumped. There were also spaces to enter which side you pumped on. Additionally, you could track so much more on the app if you wanted to, like diaper changes and baby milestones, but using it for tracking pumping sessions was what I found the most convenient. Although this was t a hospital grade pump, the suction power was impressive. I used a pumping bra, and the flanges were comfortable and easy to fit through a standard pumping bra hole. Increasing the suction power and being able to customize my experience day to day was helpful when I need a little extra suction to get more liquid gold. I will say that this doesn’t quite compare to the suction power of a hospital grade pump, but it is the closest I have found without having to rent one. After pumping, everything was very easy to clean, dry, and reuse. And the purple color was fun too! Overall, I’d give this 5 stars for portability, suction power, and ease of use!
I have multiple breast pumps (spectra, Elvie stride, dr brown’s pump, and now this one). This one performs just as strongly as the rest of them…hospital grade.What I like about this pump: each bottle comes with a stand that you can remove from the bottle. This helps for when you finish pumping and need to dissemble the pump parts. It came with 2 flange sizes, so I was able to have a size that fit. The package also comes with a cooler bag and an ice pack for storing milk. They also include a bag to hold everything for those moms that have to travel with a pump. The pump mode has 3 settings with 8 suction levels so your output using this pump is just about as good as any pump can be.Now for the cons:While the pump does come with the option to run on battery, it does not have an ability to charge rather you must replace 6AAs and this pump draws a lot of power.Secondly, if you are pumping at work or on the go, the pump assemblies via a lot of parts when you compare to other brands. If using the dual electric setting you would have 8 parts to clean after each pump which is can be time consuming and cumbersome. It’s for this reason alone that I rated this pump as 4 stars rather than 5. I am only given 20min breaks at work to pump and I was spending 5-7min each time just assembling, disassembling and cleaning pump parts which doesn’t bode well when I would normally pump for 15min and have everything set up, broken down and cleaned within the other 5.As a whole, I would recommend this pump to any new momma wanting to go through the breastfeeding journey.
The Lansinoh Smartpump 2.0 is a great little machine! Very quiet and powerful. I’ve been using it for a little over a week now and very pleased by how efficiently I can pump. Admittedly, I don’t have an issue with milk supply, but the Lansinoh Smartpump is able to keep up with my other hospital-grade pump while being very easy to use.Pros: one of the quietest pumps I’ve used which is great for middle of the night pumping sessions, surprisingly small size (easy to transport/store), super easy to use/get started out of the box, can be used as a double or single pump by quickly disconnecting one side, powerful - currently set to 4 out of 10 suction power and it’s plenty strong! Also, this kit came with all the bells and whistles - 2 sizes of flanges, extra valves, storage bottles with lids and slow flow nipple, extra bottle holders, bottle storage bag with ice pack, carrying tote! Connecting to the app was very quick and easy (scan the QR code on the bottom of the pump to link) - convenient for tracking pumping sessions, but I use a separate app to track all baby-related activities so haven’t been relying on the Lansinoh app.Cons: there are slightly more parts to wash because of the placement of the back flow protector but not a huge deal. Also, a couple “nice to haves” would be a rechargeable battery to allow you to move around more freely when needed (only works plugged in or on batteries) and a nightlight option.Overall, this is a powerful little pump! I’ve replaced my old pump with the Lansinoh Smartpump exclusively and am extremely happy with the results.
