It is difficult to find a mobile backdrop to setup and takedown and look great every time I use it. Online, people are painting paper and walls and ironing cloth, but none of that works in a mobile situation. This backdrop looks impressive, professional, stretches smooth, has an even color, and gives me an easy solution that I can pack up and carry away in a duffle bag. Searching the web I found nothing to compare to this background, but I was concerned mostly about the price. After receiving it, assembling it and using it I can tell by the design, the materials used, and the attention to detail why it was pricey. The screen is at least 7' tall and about 13' wide (less a couple feet because it folds in on the sides). The whole setup inside the bag weighs less than 20 lbs probably 16 diameter and less than 4' long. It has 3 sections of framing and the individual pieces of the frames when not assembled are held together by an interior cord. The aluminum frame pieces assemble easily and 4 clamps attach 2 on each side of the middle frame and they hold the 3 frame sections together. It took a little over 10 minutes to set it up the first time. The screen looks great assembled. It is stretchy, has reinforced edging and has clips sewn in to attach the screen to the frame with an addtional 6 inch green flap of material on the bottom to help blend with more green if I want to add more material to the floor. I have not used it for video yet, but I will be checking that out next.

Im happy with this purchase. Its easy and quick to set up and tear down, so much easier than hauling a backdrop system and vinyl roll, and it looks professional. It fits in the included duffel bag. Other reviewers said that the plastic clips that hold the background on might break, I can see how they could, but if youre careful on how you take them off I think theyll last, and if they do we could always just clamp it. Its definitely tall enough for our green screen uses.

I purchased the Lastolite Green Screen to fit a very specific space in my office. Setup took maybe 5 minutes and it was extremely intuitive to put together. We didn't even have to review the instructions. The screen stands on its own perfectly and it's extremely easy to key out. The overall product looks beautiful and extremely professional. The fabric provides a very smooth and crease free backdrop however my screen arrived slightly dirty. I used a wet rag to lightly brush the spots where there were dirt smudges and after some time the smudges came out. I noticed that there was some significant fabric balling happening where I rubbed even though I was careful to be extremely gentle with the fabric. I did it once by myself, but it should be a two person operation because of the size and awkwardness. The screen snaps in tight, so you don't have to worry about any wrinkles, which means no trip to the dry cleaners before the shoot or ironing on the set. I was surprised how stable it is once assembled, even without sandbags. My criticisms are: Once assembled, there is a small portion on the top that is not snug and can create a shadow. It's right in the middle (on top of the subject's head), so it needs to secured with additional clamps if you have them. This greenscreen is a pretty awesome idea made from great material.The material is a little thin, so light can leak from behind it if its bright enough. In those instances I take black cloth and clamp it from behind the screen.Its a little odd to build the first time, and I broke a clamp the first time I used it. Ill have to find out how to get that replaced.Its a little clunky, so youll always look a bit awkward setting it up or breaking it down.
This is a very practical and effective solution. It is quick and intuitive to set up, and the matte finish of the cloth is great for getting an even chroma green. The flap that covers the bottom pole is a smart touch that gives you those few important inches of coverage. Packs up very compact and light, easy to carry to your shoot.
I've been looking for a better greenscreen solution for a while - in the past we've hung cloth or propped up foldout screens. This fits our studio perfectly, is easily folded or disassembled, and seems to be good quality. We're very happy with it so far.FYI: It's important to slide the plastic clips out as far as possible to remove any folds/creases in the screen.
These things are great. I have two that are hooked together to make a huge green screen area. Very lightweight and easy to disassemble and store. The fabric is super smooth and wrinkle-free. It would be great if the price was a little lower, but I guess that's the case with everything, especially in the world of video. :p
I operate a photo shoot for clients at events with a green screen background option. After working with clunky tripods and a giant green piece of fabric this Manfrotto chroma key is so nice and professional. It's large enough to fit a group of people in front and tall people don't have to bend down. It's simple to set up/tear down and stays taut. I'll buy a second one soon, I'm sure.
The 13' Manfrotto Panoramic Background is easy to assemble, the storage bag is large enough that I can grow into it as I purchase more background colors, and it's a great time savings tool. I was previously using the drapery style background which is more affordable, but not really when you consider the amount of time it takes to delete the background compared to this color consistent and evenly stretched green screen. This was a great buy. I'm very happy with my purchase.
