Great basic scan tool. Requires the internet to do most things. I'm roadside assistance, so sometimes I'm working in underground car parks, so the internet is not an option. Besides that, it's great value for money.

A great diagnostic tool to keep up with your vehicles issues, so that if you had to put your vehicle in the shop for repairs, you know in advance what might be the problem. If it's an electrical issue that controls a part on your car and it's not working or working occasionally, this diagnostic tool will find the problem and present it to you. It serves as a great diagnostic tool and also functions as a tablet with the ability to go online to research whatever. Very well built and the BT model uses bluetooth to connect to the vehicle instead of plugging in, to be limited to the length of the supplied OBD2 connector cord. The 7" screen is plenty big enough to see everything.

I purchased this product to perform a particular function (Auto Trans Relearn) on my 2011 Subaru Outback. This unit will replace my ageing Autel MD802 scanner and as well as supporting newer vehicles it adds additional functionality such as DPF regens, remote key cloning, oil reset, electronic parking brake servicing etc. The MP808 also allows for live data monitoring of vehicle sensors to help diagnose problems. This is a highly valued addition to my home workshop.

Just got the scanner a couple days ago. The tablet is nice size ( 12 inch ) .easy use., lots of tools to use. Still learning to use all the features . Cost is total reason to buy for what you get. Way better than Snap-On.
what I like about this scan tool is the ability to automatic retrieve VIN and apps navigation. Also after you finish with scanning vehicles and exit the Diagnostic, the scanner give a beep sound to remind you to remove the adapter that is connect to the vehicle. It's a user friendly but not for some without computer background. Dislike is that this scan tool have no user manual, it would be nice if there is user manual online or have the manual digital stored in the device.
Very disappointing. Most of the options in the menu are unavailable for my car. This is nothing more than code reader that doesnt do much. My other scanner I-Carsoft for less than $200 can sometimes do more. I cant even do something so basic like Reset Oil service. That option in MS906S doesnt work on my 2012 Mercedes ML350. It just tells me how to do it on the instrument panel of the car. Also, I needed to install Crankshaft Sensor for 2012 Honda Accord but the "Re-learning procedure" is not included in this model. This is just overpriced code reader, nothing more.
I have not register product , I would recommend that Autel offer better for member . Membership is over prices . The performance which I have no known yet . But I did some research about membership is $109 just for 1 years for consumer. This product should get $109 for 3 years membership. We deal with our own vehicles at home we are not commercial business. But I also knowing is that for commercial is $799 just for 1 years . Seem to me is outrageous prices for commercial . No wonder consumers bring to businesses for test and diagnose is $250 or MORE???!!! unless diagnostic been monitor or more testing in automotive shop .Also recommended that Autel should get connections with IOS system not just only Androids for communication only
After considerable research I decided on the Topdon. The unit is robust and has performed exactly as expected. This is my first full bidirectional scanner and i have not explored all the limits of the unit so far, but i am learning. I only wish it had topology , there were some blogs that said theirs had come with it after updating the software, not so for me. Steve
Directions are weak. But the Unit works easy. Just hook to the battery terminal and ground. Punch in on the only button until you select the battery in need. TopDon does the rest.
I love the price of the MP808BT and that it does everything I need for the most part as a auto technician. My boss couldn't get his $5,000 MAC scanner to work and reprogram a Jeep Wrangler he just rebuilt the transmission on and asked to borrow mine. He hooked it right up and was done in less than 3 minutes. Bi-directional is definitely the way to go and the Bluetooth is just an awesome feature to be able to move around with the scanner without having to sit in the car the whole time waiting for it to read error codes. This is definitely the way to go if you want a nice Bidirectional scanner.
