Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless Steel Multi Steamer with Glass Lid

I love cooking, and I love excellent cooking equipment and tools. This is one of them. It fits 3 different-sized pots, and it's beautifully engineered. The clear lid is a great idea, for letting you see the state of your food without lifting the lid. Highly recommend.

I bought this over two years ago - I like to really use a product before I write a review.This is an excellent steamer. I've used it most days since I bought it and it is every bit as bright and shiny as it was when I got it.It works very well - it fits all my saucepans and provides a good seal, so the steam goes into the food, not out the side.Its big enough to accommodate a lot... especially things like spinach that cook down to nothing.The glass lid is useful as it allows you to see how far your spinach has cooked down without lifting the lid and releasing the steam.It doesn't have handles and you need to use an oven glove or tea towel to lift it; my previous steamer did have handles and the handles became hot in use, so I think not having handles is a ... MoreI bought this over two years ago - I like to really use a product before I write a review.This is an excellent steamer. It makes you work in a safer way.Its easy to clean and returns to shiny perfection after washing.Its tough - in two years of use it hasn't suffered any dents or scratches. It feels like a quality, built to last product.I'm really glad I bought it - I was going to buy a less expensive one but at the last minute put it back and picked up this one. I'm glad I did - there is a lot to be said for having what you want, especially in the things you use every day.It seemed expensive at the point of purchase but given how much I've used it, how robust it is and how well its faired I would say it is excellent value for money.

What a find I'm so impressed, fantastic quality and built to last. Very useful that it fits different sized saucepans. Sits on the neck of the pan high above the water so it does not boil dry unlike cheaper alternatives that sit on the floor of the pan.It's so good I'm going to purchase another for stacking on top of each other.It's not a cheap product but will last forever.
