Beautiful Wok, great size. Being cast iron, requires a lot more heat up time to get the sides hot along with keeping the burner up higher than for thinner steel or aluminum woks. Not buying any 'non-stick coated' cookware anymore, so we plan to have this wok for the rest of our lives.

This is my first La Creuset iron product. I have been using it for the pst 2 weeks. I was hesitant of buying iron wok due to the weight and maintenance. It is very heavy but I don’t mind it. I could not lift it up to slide out the food to a plate so I just scoop out the food. Just need to be careful with the edges for the heat. Maintenance is pretty easy as explained on the instructions. No issue with cleaning so far. It is an expensive product but I hope this will last for a long time. It also looks small but actually could fit a lot which is pretty amazing Also, it is made in France. :) I would recommend this product.

This wok is beautiful, functional and the right size for my gas stove top. I have just made beef and veggies stir fry for dinner tonight and the food turned out deliciously with great favour. Though a bit heavy for me but cleaning it is not an issue. It will be sitting on my stove top for frequent use and shown beautifully as well. Love it ! 😍
Have cooked a few Asian stir fry’s and the results have been good. Just remember to give it time to heat up. The base of the Wok is 14cm. This enables the Wok to be placed on the smallest or mid range size hob of my induction cooktop. I recommend this product.
Just love it! Does everything you would ezpect from an iron cast creuset, cooks evenly, and the lid allows for so much more than sauté type meals. I've even made delicious soups in this.
We had the older version of this wok and we love this one even more than the old one. We dropped the lid and it shattered, and we couldn't get a replacement lid as the new one is a different size. Le Creuset offered me a deal to replace my old wok with a new one. The old one was wider and shallower, but sat on a really small base so I dared not use it on my large element. The smaller element never really got hot enough so I had to use the lid to build up some steam to cook my stir frys (stir steam I used to call it). The new one is more compact and sits on a wider base, so I can use it on the larger element and really turn up the heat to truly stir fry! The irony is, no longer need the lid...
