I bought this because I broke my favorite butter dish and I couldn’t find anything in any store then would work for my family. I never thought it could be so hard to replace a butter dish! This butter dish even pleased my husband! Thank you.

Brand currently offers 4 butter vessels (crock, European, heritage, and signature). Mainly for breakfast butter related products are not offered in your most for Breakfast color, Nectar. Yes, folks use butter and deep yellow serving items for lunch and dinner too, but you have to admit that butter dishes and colors that are deep yellow scream breakfast. Same is true for the new signature sugar and creamer set. My opinion is that y'all over did it on Nectar mugs without the appropriate complementary items. There is no nectar: coffee pour-over, grand teapot, sugar and creamer set, butter dish, or french press. This same thing happened the last time there was a fairly widely available deep yellow (Dijon) ...... I bought this butter dish to replace my old glass dish where the cover slipped out of my hand and broke. I picked this one partly on aesthetics (I love Le Creuset), but was pleasantly surprised to discover that the little handle on the lid that you can slip your finger through makes it really easy to hold andtransport securely. Also, the lip on the bottom keeps the top in place securely. It's the perfect size for a stick of butter and I love how it looks so it's both practical and attractive. There's more orange in the Flame color than I guess I expected, but I'm still very pleased with it.
My brother always wants butter left out of refrigerator me not so much. I have looked at many other butter dishes and thought nothing of them. When I first saw this item years ago I thought oh I like that. Saw it again last year and knew it was time to get it. Had to wait for it but it was absolutely worth it.
I've been shopping for a butter dish for probably 4 years. Who knew a nice one would be so hard to find?! Until now. I am so happy with my le Creuset dish. I was worried it would be too big when it arrived, but it's perfect. Not so big for a regular stick, but also fits the bigger rectangular ones my stores sell. And it's beautiful on the counter. Has both good function and fashion.
I mostly buy the Irish Kerigold butter which comes in a wider size than the standard butter sticks. This dish is wide enough to accommodate it nicely. And with all their porcelain products, this is well designed and well crafted.
This butter dish is of high quality. The lines (design) of the butter dish breaks away from the "minimalist" tendency of modern design and has a lot of charm. The "ears" have ridges making it easy to pass from person to person. Colors match the LeCreuset salt and pepper shakers as well as the Dutch Oven, giving a unified presence to the table. The butter dish has a nice solid and nicely pitched ring as you place the lid on the dish which indicates it is made with good materials and is well fired. Holds 2 American sticks or one of the Kerrygold sticks comfortably. Would recommend and would buy again. Will purchase as a gift for family for Christmas this year.
I wanted a colorful butter dish for my place but was having trouble finding one. This butter dish is perfect, I got the orange color and I love it. Super functional and it looks great.
