Somehow, any glass salt grinders would get broken, so I opted for something I thought would give a nice even grind and survive being dropped. There's a reason they sell covers for the bottoms of these. What a mess!!! Salt, especially , everywhere!!! I'm not going to fuss with covers. I got a little tray that I periodically empty into soup. They've survived the inevitable dropping, but absolutely not worth the price.

Awful Product

I bought a pair of these to replace my (similar looking) Cole and Mason mills (which were great except that, being made of steel, the salt mill became corroded, which ruined the finish).Yes, they're attractive, they're made of plastic (so no corrosion) and they have ceramic grinders. But they just don't force the salt or pepper into the grinder, as a result of which they don't actually work. The pepper mill is better than the salt mill, but even that needs a regular shake to actually get peppercorns into the grinder.Avoid.

Favourite present

Perfect look- easy to fill and use. It has a wonderful sturdy feel so no matter which cook in the house uses it, I am convinced it will last for a long time, unlike the Perspex one bought previous. Also, and most importantly my 3 year old granddaughter wants to keep them in her Disney Princess Castle! - the girl has great taste

Le Creuset table style

I have a serious addiction to Le Creuset Salt and pepper mills. I am an interior designer and set beautiful tables for my clients and none are complete without these beautiful colourful salt and pepper mills.Naturally they are stylish, substantial in weight and function effortlessly.I currently have pale pink, teal blue and bamboo green and I’m coveting the yellow!They add style and colour to my clients’ tables and I always coordinate them with beautiful Australian tablecloths.

Not adjustable.

I recently returned a cheaper version because the grinders only had one setting - salt & pepper dust. So when I saw this set advertised as adjustable, I gladly paid the extra money. I am bitterly disappointed that these are also NOT ADJUSTABLE.The grinding result is one up from powder, but still, don't expect coarse salt or pepper from these. Coming from such a reputable brand on which I've spent a fortune over decades, I find it shocking and I do not recommend these if you like a coarse grind.

Not what I expected

Wanted these for a while, had not handled them in person before purchase. I thought they were a heavier material and was disappointed at the light, plastic, cheap feel. I purchased online and accidentally tried to return at an outlet so settled for an exchange for the wood version, which for the price point, I am not happy with. There are heavier, more high quality grinders for this price point or less. I love Le Creuset products, but for me, this is a skip.

Plasticy and cracked

The neck of it had a hairline crack.I purchased this when I worked at Myer in homewares as I was taught it was the best available. ( Since resigned and relocated to another area)I had it for maybe 3 years and noticed a crack at the top where it screws onto the head.I took it back to another Myer store and because I couldn’t show proof of purchase they wouldn’t replace. The Myer One App receipt trail only goes back 2 years🙄 but product is covered for 10 years.Pretty disappointing really.

Salt and Pepper Mills and Spoon Rest

Love the color. Can’t recall the name but it is the lighter green. Spoon rest is nice and more user friendly then the one I had. This spoon rest is flat so it’s a good design as far as ease of use. The mills are a totally different story. Again love the green color but DOES NOT grind pepper worth a darn. Look nice as a decoration next to my stove. Wanted to return them but get this….take a picture of the problem….. how do you take a picture and send to them to show what the issue is ???? Does not grind peppercorns!! You figure out what the issue is as a picture will show nothing!!! Do not buy the mills.. The salt mill gives very, very fine dust so not what I wanted either.Two stars only because I like the color and the spoon rest is useful.

Salt n pepper mill

Hi I bought this pepper mill along with the salt mill for my daughter, as she had heard me praise your products so much over the years. So of course I only felt it right to get her a set, they grind perfect each use, they look stylish and feel really nice to use. Definitely recommend them, she’s now bought cups cooking dishes and other items herself, I absolutely love your products and so does she thank you so much for making such great quality cookware.

Too small capacity, but works ok with a screw driver

I bought this thinking it was ceramic and was immediately disappointed, then I filled it and the salt came out completely fine, I tried adjusting it and couldn't get it to work and read another comment that you had to cut out the bar at the bottom. That luckily isn't necessary. You just need to loosen the screws at the bottom about 5 turns (they are rather long) and pull the gaurd put a little this allows the grinder to come down more, then loosen the top screw with the S or P on top to adjust the coarseness. It works fine now!
