These are great. I have two in the kitchen for their intended purpose & six more which I use to protect my plant stands from scratching & to help hold the plants in place. They are attractive & quite grippy & thus very useful.

There’s a trivet for everyone and every trivet has its place. With that said, I feel I must say that I love Le Creuset with my whole heart. I have been fortunate enough to have been gifted with their beautiful pans and cookware. This trivet felt less substantial than I was expecting. It is made of a rubbery material and the color seems dull after a few uses.

But while beauty is in the eye of the beholder, this beholder feels that it is at best a resounding "meh." I bought two of these trivets as a gift to give my daughter, who is going to host us for Thanksgiving. She adores Le Creuset (smart girl -- I raised her right) and I know she needs more trivets, so I splurged on them for her. I chose them in the oyster (gray) color to go with her neutral decor. If you want to order these trivets, I suggest that you go with them in a beautiful, fun color (unless your soul is as dark and bleak as these "oyster" trivets are, in which case you'll love them). But my advice is to pass on them. Go with something else.

Not only is it a great colour match for my Dutch oven… the quality is fabulous. A solid addition to my collection while protecting my table/counter.

Le Creuset Trivets are lovely!

I really like these trivets! I bought two red ones and then bought 4 blue ones I liked them that much. They match my kitchen crockery which is blue and white, and my appliances which are red. They feel strong but soft and flexible and have that lovely heritage pattern in them. The service from Kitchen Warehouse is always efficient and fast.

Not what I expected

The design of the trivet was nice, however, given the price (30% more than other similar products) and lack of description I did not realise it was made of silicone.When I tried to return it, it asked for information that was not provided andtherefore not possible to return. Not happy with the quality for the price or thelack of clear information and direction to return the product.
