Le Creuset Silicone Round Cool Tool - Black

I purchased 2 of these to sit on my counters so that I can use them to put hot items & those with rough bases on to protect my kitchen bench tops. The red adds a splash of colour in my white kitchen which looks good. I thought they would be thicker but they are quite thin. I use them a lot.

Love this! A colorful hotpad, and a non-slip gripper for taking dinner out of the oven. Helps with stubborn jar lids, too. Great multi-tool!

Great Protection for Induction Stovetop & benchtop

I purchased 2 of these primarily to protect my induction stovetop from the bases of a heavy enamelled cast iron Dutch oven and grill pan as I sometimes keep them on display when the stovetop is not in use. I also use them to protect my bench top when I take hot pots off the hotplates and out of the oven. They can also be used between frying pans to protect non stick surfaces. They do an excellent job when used for all these situations. They are strong but light and easy to clean which is a bonus.

Great product with multiple uses

Initially bought this as a flexible lightweight trivet for Le Creuset cast iron pans to protect from heat but has been used to stop scratching pans or surfaces (cast iron is great to use but pretty heavy) even when not hot. This has also been really useful for clean up too. If you stand the pans in the sink the trivet goes in the sink - doesn't matter if it gets wet and dishwashes easily.Slightly difficult to dry the trivet with water in the ridges, but that is the only minor criticism as it works well

Simple, practical and effective

Nice and grippy on the kitchen worktop. They are floppy, not rigid. Good for keeping mixing bowls steady, especially when our kids are involved - as well as protecting surfaces from hot pans etc. Stack together nicely so take up little room when not in use.

Such a useful item!

Really love this item. I wasn't sure when it first arrived how useful it would be but it's been brilliant. With brand new oak surfaces we've used this for hot pans, bowls and even making cups of tea. It's helped to protect the surfaces. Easy to clean.

Very useful and discrete

Very useful in the kitchen and discrete too. Discrete? Well yes, black version blends in well with worktops so not 'glary' and obvious. Also very easy to wash if food drips on it. As flat cannot tip over when putting something on it like others that are on little legs. Great!

Work top safety

My granite worktops are fully protected from the hottest of pans. Lives out all the time and even looks nice. Always available when I want to put something down from the oven.

Works with induction top

Purchased these to protect my induction top. Works well to prevent scratches and grips the pots and pans from slipping on the glass top. Has a high temperature rating and well exceeds the induction elements maximum temperature They are dishwasher safe. However after 3 years of continuous daily use on the induction top, they will need to be replaced. Oil, grit and food start to stick and don't come out. However! Using it as a hotplate insulator for your table and bench, it will last forever!

big fan of Le Creuset

I had two of them Black and Red. I am a big fan of Le Creuset products . I know it is expensive but it would not give me disappointment at all. I love them to use in my kitchen more than coster or cool tool. amazingly I can hang my kitchen door and as soon as I need them I can grab any time any ways. good to match my some others Le Creuset products. also easy to clean them too. with using Myer awards and sales help good deals .
