I love this batter bowl. It makes pouring batter so clean and simple. I especially like it for pouring eggs into my stand mixer. The recipes usually call for a certain number of eggs and then tell you to pour in one at a time and beat in between. What a pleasure it was to use this bowl. Nothing spilled. Everything was neat and clean. The price is great for this product line. The color is rich and deep and the size is large and perfect. I definitely recommend this batter bowl.

There is a review here, where someone said that she was disappointed with the size of this batter bowl. Because of that, this batter bowl seemed large when i opened the package, because it is NOT small. I don't know what she was talking about because 2 quarts is the standard size for a batter bowl. I absolutely love my red batter bowl; it is stunning, highly functional and I am proud to own anything that bears the name Le Creuset. Le Creuset means quality, and the 2 quart capacity is the perfect size for a batter bowl. I LOVE mine.
Sturdy and solid mixing bowl but is not heavy (I am not strong or large) when pouring. The size is perfect for most of my baking or cooking and washes very easily. I've only been using the bowl for a few weeks so I cannot rate durability over time but it hasn't scratched yet. The red bowl is a nice red color that fades from very dark to a lighter red but is not pink.Only major drawback, so far, would have been cost but was a great wedding registry item.
I just love Le Cresuet products! They are the best and made to last forever!I picked up this batter bowl on sale at a great price! I use it almost every weekend to make pancakes or waffle batter! It has a big handle and a pour spout that make it super easy to use!The colors of Le Cresuet are always that beautiful warm gradient pattern that you only find on their products. I purchased this one in red and it has a deep red on the bottom that moves to a litter candy apple towards the top!One bowl mixing and less mess in the kitchen! Easy clean up - dishwasher safe! If you take care of this it will last you forever! I cannot say enough about this product line! Just go and buy it! You will not be disappointed!
Pancake batter. I can stir all of the batter and liquid to combine easily. It is also an attractive looking vessel.
This is a beautiful batter bowl but if you plan to use it as suck look for a different brand. I purchased this in white and after the first use the metal whisk left scratches in the bottom of the bowl. It is no longer pristine. Also there is a indentation where the handle meets the bowl and dry flour gets stuck in that space. While this is not a huge deal you would think that a batter bowl would be better designed. It looks nice on the shelf!

I used it to make pancakes on my my staub griddle. Had 6 ppl to serve pancakes to and I was able to use this to hold enough batter. It did get a little bit heavy , but it did the job! Lol
