I was gifted this mug for Christmas and was loving using it - it is the perfect size for a cuppa and the soft pink colour looks lovely. However after 2 months of using it, it completely cracked with the bottom of the mug falling away from the rest of it. I would expect this to happen to more well used mug but this was essentially brand new. Really disappointing, especially as the brand is one I use regularly and usually can't fault!

I hope to increase the number we have and get rid of all the odd mugs, which make you shiver as you open the cupboard and view.Great size, not too large, not too small, and very robust. I love the bright green colour too.Hints don’t work in my family, but if they did, I’d be happy with these for my. Birthday or Christmas.

I bought this to replace my 400 cl Cornishware mug, not because there was anything wrong with that, but rather because certain poor sales policies with that company led me to buy some other Le Creuset crockery. I decided that I wanted a mug that matched the rest of my dinner set. It is indeed the same size as the Cornishware mug in the amount of liquid it holds, but because of the shape, there is a large pool of liquid if you fill it to the top and that tends to splash. I have looked for a saucer to rest the mug on, which would catch the overspill like other cups and saucers do, but there is no saucer to go with the mug, which is dissatisfying and leads me to my rating of only 3 stars. Make me a saucer and I'll give it five.
These pretty bistro cups are a wonderful size for double cappuccinos and full-sized lattes. The glaze is smooth and unstained after years of use, and the cups don't even notice being thrown in the dishwasher or microwave. I like to give them as gifts. They do low-key snobby as only Le Creuset does it. I wish they came in a wider variety of colors.
Excellent product. Price higher than other products but well worth it. Fantastic colours and well designed. We have 18 of these mugs that are regularly used and cleaned in a dish washer. No chips or fading. All as good as new. Ideal for coffee or tea and always get positive feed back from guests. We are fans of Le Creuset products.
I bought every member of my family a Le Creuset mug for Christmas. I chose colours from throughout the entire range, appropriate to the receiver. Even the kids loved their mugs! The glazes Le Creuset uses are spectacular - Dark Teal a particular success. Black Satine was judged too nice to be taken back to University - it would get pinched! John Lewis packed everything beautifully in a large box and delivered it to the relatives I was spending Christmas with. I then wrapped them individually. All of us were very, very pleased.
I am so disappointed. I guess that I should have looked at the reviews. I will be calling QVC in the am. I received my mugs this evening & then were both broken. Neither mug came in a separate box & neither mug was wrapped in bubble wrap. They were rolling around loosely in the box with some brown paper when I opened them. Yikes! I am not sure where QVC quality control is??? Also, I am not sure these are real Le Creuset mugs because they say made in Thailand & all my other pieces from this brand usually have come in a separate box. I have been a QVC shopper since 1996 and I have to wonder what is going on. I was so excited to find this color as I have other pieces that match. Bought the Satin Black mug and very disappointed at how its appearence has deteriorated over time. Obviously we wash it in the dishwasher, and after just a few weeks of non-heavy use it has become speckled and really taken away from how its meant to look. It has become speckled and textured and to be honest, ruined the effect of the Satin colour. It's also very easy to scratch with fingernails and leaves a dark-grey mark on the black. Supposedly you can get the speckles out with some Le Creuset cleaning stuff, but that costs £16+.Have purchased a bright orange and light purple one since, and would easily give them 5 Stars. Bought 2 of these as a wedding gift and they went down really well. The colour was vibrant and the quality of the mugs was high.I would say that the packaging was very excessive. 2 small mugs arrived in such a massive box (mugs were tucked away in a corner) that the staff at the collection point in Waitrose took the box away for me so I didn't have to carry it home.Overall, great items, shame about the waste of packaging
